VIVANCO UR 03 UF remote control for
almost all TV, audio, video and other
infrared-controllable appliances
Inserting the batteries
Open the battery compartment on the
underside of the UR, see Fig.. Then insert 1
new CR 2032 lithium battery. Make sure that
the polarity is correct: the "+" and "-" markings
on the batteries and in the compartment must
match. To check functionality, press the PWR
button. If everything is correct the red lamp
flickers when the button is pressed.
Lithium Battery:
Caution: Danger of explosion if battery is
incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the
same or equivalent type recommended by the
manufacturer. Dispose of used batteries
according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Adapting to appliances
In order to control your appliances you must
adapt or set the remote control to them:.
Direct control code entry using the
enclosed list
Example: setting to control a Panasonic
television set:
1. The attached list gives, for
example, the Panasonic Code 176.
Please make sure you have selected the
correct list for television sets (TV).
2. To prepare code entry, press the
SET button, keep it pressed and then press the
required appliance button, e.g. TV, additionally
until the lamp (LED) lights constantly.
3. Then press the number buttons
(e.g. 1 7 6) in sequence.
4. Once the numbers have been
entered the lamp goes out and the remote
control is ready to control your appliance.
5. Finally, test the control code setting
by trying to control (in this example) your
television set. If it does not work at all or not
correctly try a different code from the list or the
code search (see below).
To set the remote control for other appliances,
proceed in the same way. Instead of the TV
appliance button, press another button e.g.
DVB (SAT, DECODER, DVB-T), AUX.
The letters on the device buttons TV, DVB,
AUX are for your orientation only. You can set
each type of device under any of the buttons.
You can terminate the mode by pressing any
device button.
Code search
If the brand of your appliance is not in the list
or none of the codes given fits, we recommend
a code search.
Manual code search
1. Switch on the appliance to be
controlled. Program is running.
2. To prepare code search, press the
SET button, keep it pressed and then press the
required appliance button, e.g. TV, additionally
until the lamp (LED) lights constantly.
3. Then point the remote control at the
appliance to be controlled.
4. Briefly press the SET button once.
The lamp (LED) blinks. – Except when
searching for a TV code you can also briefly
press the (Play) button and use the Play
function to help search and press ON/OFF
for testing the next code. Make sure that a
tape, a DVD or a CD is inserted in the tape
deck, player or recorder.
5. Press the ON/OFF (appliance
on/off) button repeatedly for testing the next
code, approx. every 1,5 seconds, until the
appliance, e.g. your TV reacts by power off or
your DVD player, reacts by Play > button. - If
your appliance has switched itself off you must
switch it back on again, e.g. on the appliance
or with the original remote control, to continue
searching. - When your appliance reacts you
can also try out other buttons without
interrupting the search. If some buttons do not
work properly, simply continue searching with
ON/OFF or Play.
6. When your appliance reacts
correctly, press the appliance button, e.g. TV,
and end the search. The lamp (LED) goes out.
- The UR 03 UF continues with the search at
the point where you interrupted it. . The code
last entered remains stored. The search stops
after approx. 30 seconds of inactivity.
Automatic code search
Your remote control finds the correct settings
almost automatically in seconds:
1. Switch on the appliance to be
controlled. A channel number, for example,
appears in the display of your satellite receiver.
2. To start the code search, press the
required appliance button, e.g. TV briefly.
3. Then press SET for about 5
seconds until the lamp (LED) starts to blink.
4. Then point the remote control at the
appliance to be controlled while the remote
control emits a different ON/OFF signal every
second.

5. When your appliance reacts, press
SET within 1-2 seconds, to end the search. – If
you ended the search too late, continue to
search using the Manual Code Search (see
above).
6. Finally, test the control code setting
by trying to control, for example, your DVD
appliance. If it does not work correctly, please
try the code search again. The code search
then begins with the next code in the
sequence. - Remember to switch your
appliance, e.g. DVD, back on again if you wish
to continue searching.
Code identification
You can read off the 3-digit codes you have set
at any time:
1. Press the appliance button of the
appliance which code you want to read off, e.g.
TV.
2. Press the SET button and 1,2,3,
depending on the part of the code you want to
read off. For example, if you press SET+1 after
TV and the code 176 (in this example) has
been set, the lamp blinks once after SET+1 is
released to show that the hundred figure is 1.
All you have to do is count. The ten figure is
indicated after SET+2 is released, e.g. it blinks
7 times for the 7 in 176. The one figure is
indicated after SET+3 is released, e.g. it blinks
6 times for the 6 in 176.

Operation
You operate your appliances basically in
exactly the same way as if you were using the
original remote controls, except that you must
first press an appliance button (TV, DVB, etc.)
to control the required appliance. As the
symbols on the UR 03 UF could differ from
those on the original remote controls you may
have to try out all the buttons in order to find
the functions.
Scan:
When you press this button a channel-up
signal CH+ is emitted every 2,5 seconds and
the following channels are shown one after the
other without your having to press a button
repeatedly. This function stops when you press
any button.
Punch through
If certain control codes e.g. for controlling
satelite receivers, set top boxes etc, don´t
contain volume and mute key functions, then
the controller controls TV volume and mute
automatically.

Fernbedienung Vivanco UR 03 UF für fast
alle Fernseh-, Audio-, Video und anderen
infrarotsteuerbaren Geräte
Batterien einlegen
Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach an der Unterseite
der UR 03 UF, s. Fig. und setzen Sie eine
neue CR 2032 Lithium-Batterie ein. Bitte
überprüfen Sie die richtige Polarität: die „+“ und
„-„ Markierungen der Batterien und des Faches
müssen übereinstimmen. Drücken Sie zur
Überprüfung der korrekten Funktion die PWR-
Taste. Wenn alles korrekt ist, flackert die rote
Lampe beim Drücken.
Lithiumbatterie:
VORSICHT: Explosionsgefahr bei
unsachgemäßem Auswechseln der Batterie!
Batterie nur mit einem vom Hersteller
empfohlenen gleichwertigen Typ ersetzen.
Entsorgung muß nach Anweisungen des
Herstellers erfolgen.
Geräteanpassung
Um Ihre Geräte steuern zu können, müssen
Sie die Fernbedienung für Ihre Geräte
einstellen. Dazu gibt es zwei Möglichkeiten: die
direkte Steuerkodeeingabe und die
Kodesuche.
Die direkte Steuerkodeeingabe mithilfe der
beigefügten Liste
Beispiel: Einstellung der Fernbedienung für ein
Panasonic-Fernsehgerät:
1. Aus der beigefügten Liste
entnehmen Sie z.B. den Panasonic-Code 176.
Bitte vergewissern Sie sich, dass Sie die
korrekte Liste für Fernseher (TV) gewählt
haben.
2. Zur Vorbereitung der Kodeeingabe
drücken Sie kurz die Tasten SET (Einstellung)
und dann dazu die gewünschte Gerätetaste,
z.B. TV, bis das Lämpchen (LED) dauernd
leuchtet.
3. Dann drücken Sie nacheinander die
Zifferntasten (z.B. 1 7 6).

4. Nach der Zifferneingabe erlischt die
Lampe und die Fernbedienung ist bereit zum
Steuern Ihres Gerätes.
5. Zum Abschluss testen Sie den
eingestellten Steuerkode, indem Sie versuchen
in diesem Fall Ihr TV-Gerät zu steuern.
Funktioniert es nicht oder nicht richtig, dann
versuchen Sie bitte einen weiteren Kode aus
der Liste oder die Kodesuche, s.u.
Die Einstellung der Fernbedienung zur
Steuerung weiterer Geräte nehmen Sie auf
gleiche Weise vor. Anstelle der Gerätetaste TV
drücken Sie andere Tasten, z.B. DVB, AUX..
Die Beschriftungen der Tasten TV, DVB, AUX
dienen nur zur Orientierung. Sie können
unter jeder Taste jede Geräteart einstellen.
Sie beenden die Kodeingabe durch Drücken
irgeneiner Gerätetaste.
Kodesuche
Wenn die Marke eines Gerätes nicht in der
Liste steht oder kein angegebener Kode passt,
empfiehlt sich die Kodesuche.
Steuerkodesuche
Wenn Sie Ihre Marke in der Kodeliste nicht
finden oder keinen passenden Kode, nutzen
Sie bitte die Kodesuche.
Manuelle Kodesuche
1 Bitte das zusteuernde Gerät einschalten.
Programm läuft.
2 Zur Vorbereitung der Kodesuche drücken
Sie die Tasten SET (Einstellung), und dann
dazu die gewünschte Gerätetaste, z.B. TV, bis
das Lämpchen (LED) dauernd leuchtet.
3 Dann Fernbedienung auf das zu
steuernde Geräte richten.
4 Einmal kurz SET-Taste drücken. Das
Tastenlämpchen (LED) blinkt.
5 Wiederholt, ca. jede Sekunde, EIN/AUS
(Gerät ein/aus) Taste drücken bis Gerät,
z.B. Ihr Fernsehgerät, reagiert. – Bei der
Suche nach Kodes können Sie auch z.B. die
Taste > (Play) jeweils nach dem Drücken der
Taste (Gerät ein/aus) kurz drücken um die
Play/Wiedergabefunktion zum Suchen zu
verwenden. Stellen Sie sicher, dass in
Bandgeräten, Playern und Rekordern dann ein
Band bzw. eine DVD oder CD eingelegt ist.
Hatte sich Ihr Gerät ausgeschaltet, so müssen
Sie es, z.B. am Gerät oder mit der
Originalfernbedienung zur weiteren Suche
wieder einschalten. - Wenn Ihr Gerät reagiert
können Sie auch andere Tasten probieren,
ohne die Suche zu verlassen. Wenn einige
Tasten nicht richtig funktionieren, suchen Sie
einfach weiter mit EIN/AUS_Drücken: Wenn
Ihr Gerät richtig reagiert, drücken Sie die
Gerätetaste, z.B. TV, und beendenden so die
Suche. Das Lämpchen (LED) geht aus.
- Die UR 03 UF setzt die Suche dort fort, wo
Sie die Suche abgebrochen hatten. Der
zuletzt eingegebene Kode bleibt gespeichert.
Die Suche wird nach ca. 30 Sekunden
Untätigkeit abgebrochen.
Automatische Kodesuche
In wenigen Sekunden findet Ihre
Fernbedienung fast automatisch die richtigen
Steuereinstellungen:
1. Bitte das zusteuernde Gerät
einschalten. Z.B. erscheint eine
Programmnummer in der Anzeige Ihres
Satempfängers.
2. Zum Start der Kodesuche drücken
Sie kurz die gewünschte Gerätetaste, z.B. TV.
3. Dann SET-Taste mehr als 5
Sekunden lang drücken bis das Lämpchen
(LED) blinkt.
4. Dann Fernbedienung auf das zu
steuernde Geräte richten, während die
Fernbedienung jede Sekunde ein anderes
EIN/AUS Signal sendet.
5. Wenn Ihr Gerät reagiert, drücken
Sie SET innerhlb von 1-2 Sekunden, um die
Kodesuche zu beenden. – Wenn Sie die Suche
zu spät beendet haben, dann suchen Sie bitte
weiter mit der Manuellen Kodesuche s.o..
6. Zum Abschluss testen Sie den
eingestellten Steuerkode, indem Sie versuchen
z.B. Ihr DVD-Gerät zu steuern. Funktioniert es
nicht richtig, dann versuchen Sie bitte die
Kodesuche noch einmal. Die Codesuche
startet dann mit dem nächstfolgenden Code. -
Vergessen Sie nicht Ihr Gerät z.B. DVD, wenn
Sie weiter suchen lassen wollen, wieder am
Gerät einzuschalten.
Kodeindentifikation
Sie können die eingestellten 3-stelligen Kodes
jederzeit auslesen:
1. Gerätetaste des Gerätes drücken,
dessen Kode Sie auslesen möchten. Z.B. TV.
2. SET (Einstellen) drücken und dazu
1,2,3 drücken, je nachdem welche Stelle des
Kodes Sie auslesen möchten. Z.B. wenn Sie
nach TV SET+1 gedrückt haben und der
Bespielkode 176 eingestellt ist, blinkt das
Lämpchen, nach dem loslassen von SET+1, 1*
um die Hunderterstelle mit 1 anzuzeigen. Sie
brauchen also nur zu zählen. Mit SET+2 wird
nach dem Loslassen die 10er Stelle
ausgegeben, z.B. blinkt es 7* für die 7 von 176.
Und Mit SET+3 wird nach dem Loslassen die
1er Stelle ausgegeben, z.B. blinkt es 6* für die
6 von 176.

zaczyna si wtedy z nastpnym kolejnym
kodem. – Jeli zamierzacie Pastwo dalej
wyszukiwa, naley pamita o ponownym
włczeniu urzdzenie przyciskiem na
urzdzeniu.
Identyfikacja kodów
Ustawiony 3-cyfrowy kod moecie Pa!stwo w
kadej chwili wyczyta:
1. Wcisn klawisz tego urzdzenia,
którego kod chcecie Pa!stwo wyczyta. Np.
TV.
2. Wcisn SET (ustawienie) i do tego 1,2,
lub 3, stosownie do tego jak cyfr kodu
chcecie Pa!stwo wyczyta. np., gdy po SET
wcisnli cie +1 a ustawiony jest kod nagrania
176, to miga lampka, po puszczeniu SET+1, 1*

P$ezkoušejte prosím správnou polaritu:

ozna&ením v p$ihrádce pro baterie. Pro
kontrolu správné funkce stiskn%te tla&ítko
PWR. Pokud je všechno správn%, rozsvítí se

Lithiová baterie:
POZOR: Nebezpeí výbuchu pi neodborné
výmn baterie! Baterii nahrazujte pouze
stejným typem baterie, který doporuuje
výrobce. Likvidace musí být provedena
v souladu s pokyny výrobce.
Nastavení DO s pístrojem
Abyste mohli ovládat p$ístroje, musí se
nejd$íve DO nastavit na Váš p$ístroj. Jsou dv%
možnosti nastavení, p$ímé zadání pomocí
kódu nebo jeho vyhledáním.

Automatisk kodsökning
På några få sekunder finner din fjärrkontroll
nästan automatiskt de rätta styrinställningarna:
1. Slå på apparaten, t.ex. visas ett
programnummer på satmottagarens display.
2. För att starta kodsökningen ska du
trycka kort på den aktuella apparatknappen
t.ex. TV
3. Håll sedan SET-knappen intryckt
längre än 5 sekunder till dess den lilla lampan
(lysdioden) blinkar.
4. Rikta sedan fjärrkontrollen mot den
apparat, som ska styras, under det att
fjärrkontrollen varje sekund sänder en annan
TILL/ FRÅN-signal.
5. När din apparat reagerar, kan du
trycka på vilken knapp som helst utom SET
inom 1-2 sekunder, för att avsluta
kodsökningen. – Om du har avslutat sökningen
alltför sent, sök då vidare med den manuella
kodsökningen, se ovan.
6. Som avslutning ska du testa den
inställda styrkoden, genom att du t.ex. försöker
styra din DVD-apparat. Om den inte fungerar
korrekt, så ska du försöka med kodsökningen
en gång till. Den startar då med nästföljande
kod. – Glöm inte att åter slå på din apparat t ex
DVD, om du vill fortsätta sökningen.
Kodidentifikation
Du kan när som helst avläsa de inställda 3-
siffriga koderna:
1. Tryck på knappen för den apparat,
vars kod du vill avläsa, t ex TV.
2. Tryck på SET (inställning) och
dessutom på 1, 2 eller 3, beroende på vilken
siffra i koden du vill kunna se. Om du t ex har
tryckt SET+1 och exempelkoden 176 är
inställd, blinkar den lilla lampan – efter det att
du har släppt upp SET+1 – 1 gång för att visa
hundratalet som 1. Du behöver alltså bara
räkna. Med SET+2 visas 10-talssiffran efter det
att knapparna har släppts upp – i exemplet
blinkar lampan 7* för siffran 7 i 176 – och med
SET+3 visas entalet sedan knapparna släppts
upp, t ex blinkar lampan 6* för siffran 6 i 176.
Manövrering
Du manövrerar dina apparater praktiskt taget
precis på samma sätt som du är van med från
originalfjärrkontrollerna, du måste bara först
trycka på en apparatknapp, TV, DVB osv., för
att kunna styra önskad apparat. Eftersom
symbolerna på UR 03 UF kan skilja sig från
symbolerna på originalfjärrkontrollerna, så
måste du i vissa fall prova dig fram med alla
knappar för att hitta funktionerna.
Texterna på knapparna TV, DVB, AUX är
enbart avsedda för orientering. Alla knappar
kan användas för inställning av varje typ av
apparat.
Volym-Punch-Through-funktion
När vissa styrkoder, t ex för satellitmottagare,
DVB-T settopboxar, inte omfattar några volym-
och ljudbortkopplingsfunktioner utnyttjar UR 03
UF automatiskt motsvarande funktioner hos
TV-apparaten.
Scanning
När du trycker ned denna knapp skickas
automatisk en “CH+” signal till din apparat en
gång varje 2,5 sekunder, och efterföljande
kanaler visas en efter en annan utan att du
behöver trycka ned någon knapp upprepade
gånger. Denna funktion avbryts så fort du
trycker ned en annan knapp (oavsett vilken
knapp),

takmer všetky televízie, audio, video a
ostatné prístroje, ovládané infraerveným
svetlom.
Vloženie batérií
Otvorte priehradku pre batérie na spodnej
strane UR 03 UF, vi( obrázok a vložte 1 novú
lítiovú batériu CR 2032. Preskúšajte prosím
správnu polaritu: ozna&enie batérie „+“ a „-„
musí súhlasim s ozna&ením v priehradke pre
batérie. Pre kontrolu správnej funkcie stla&te
tla&idlo PWR. Pokian je všetko správne,
rozsvieti sa pri stla&ení &ervené svetlo.
Lítiová batéria:
POZOR: Nebezpeenstvo výbuchu pri
neodbornej výmene batérie! Batériu
nahradzujte len ekvivalentným typom,
odporúaným výrobcom. Likvidácia sa musí
vykonávaV podWa pokynov výrobcu.

ako by ste mali originálny DO, len najskôr

DO – UR 03 UF môžu oproti originálnemu DO
líšim, musíte okrem iného najskôr všetky
funkcie vyskúšam.

orientáciu. Pod každé tlaidlo môžete
nastaviV akýkoWvek prístroj.
Funkcia hlasitosti punch-through
Pokian ur&ité riadiace kódy, napr. pre satelitné
prijíma&e, DVB-T settopboxy, neobsahujú
žiadne funkcie hlasitosti a vypnutia zvuku,
využíva UR 03 UF automaticky príslušné
funkcie televízneho prijíma&a.
