Getting started is simple!
1. Start up your computer.
2. Remove the cap from the USB stick.
Note: Do not pull the cap too hard as it is attached to the stick.
3. Pull out the plastic tray above the USB connector.
4. Put the SIM card into the tray, and then push the tray back into the stick until it clicks into
place.
5. Insert your Stick into a free USB port on your computer. The Mobile Broadband Manager
software starts installing automatically. Simply follow the Setup Wizard prompts.
Note: Do not disconnect the Stick during the installation process.
6. If prompted, restart your computer.

Connecting to the Internet with the
Mobile Broadband Manager software.
On a Windows operating system
After successful installation the Mobile Broadband Manager short-cut icon will appear on
your desktop. Double-click this icon to start the software.
To connect to the Internet click the Connect button. Open the web browser and start using
the Internet!
To disconnect from the Internet, simply click on the button again which is
now named Disconnect:
On a Mac OS X operating system
After successful installation, the Mobile Broadband Manager should start automatically.
The icon is present in the Dock.
To connect to the Internet click the Connect button. Open the web browser and start using
the Internet!
To disconnect from the Internet, simply click on the button again which is
now named Disconnect:

user manual (which you can access on the CD provided or via the ‘help’ section of the
Mobile Broadband Manager)

Red Always on Modem not ready or Error Status
Green Always on Registered to 2G network
Active connection via 2G network or
roaming 2G network
Blue Always on Registered to 3G network
Active connection via 3G network
or roaming 3G network
