INTRODUCTION:
Congratulations for selecting the BF-5.9T by BLADEZ FITNESS as your
primary source of fitness equipment. The BF-5.9T treadmill offers many
exercise programs that benefit users of all levels and ages. The treadmill is
designed to make your workouts more effective and enjoyable.
Please read this manual carefully before using your BF-5.9T treadmill. This
will allow you to get a full understanding of all the features BLADEZ

SECTION 1
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
Read all instructions before using the treadmill.
Notice: Consult your family physician or health care professional to develop a well-
planned exercise program to fit your health needs. If you encounter any pain or breathing
discomfort while working out, STOP!, and consult a physician before continuing.
DANGER!To reduce the risk of electric shock:
1. Always unplug this appliance from the electrical outlet immediately after using and
before cleaning.
WARNING!To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock,
or injury to persons:
1. The appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in. Unplug from outlet
when not in use, and before putting on or taking off parts.
2. Do not operate under blanket or pillow. Excessive heating can occur and cause fire,
electric shock, or injury to persons.
3. Keep children away from the treadmill while in use.
4. Do not wear loose or dangling clothing while using the treadmill.
5. Maximum user weight of this treadmill is 275 lbs.
6. Keep a minimum clearance of 18” on each side and 24” at the rear of the treadmill for
safety.
7. It is mandatory that you unplug the treadmill prior to cleaning to reduce the risk of
electric shock, serious burns, and the risk of injuries.
8. The treadmill should never be left unattended when in operation. Unplug the
treadmill from the outlet when not in use or when servicing the treadmill.
9. Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by or near children,
invalids, or disabled persons.
10. Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual.
Do not use any attachment not recommended by the manufacturer.
11. Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, or if it is not working
properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or dropped into water. Call your service
center for any service concerns before taking your treadmill in for repair.
12. Do not carry this appliance by the power cord or use the cord as a handle.
13. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
14. Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
15. Never operate the appliance with the air openings blocked. Keep the air openings free
of lint, hair and the like.

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This product must be grounded. If it malfunctions or breaks down, grounding provides a
path of least resistance for electric currents, to reduce the risk of electric shock. This
product is equipped with a cord which has an equipment-grounding conductor and a
grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an appropriate outlet that is properly
installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.
WAR N I N G!
An improper connection of the equipment grounding conductor can
result in a risk of an electrical shock. Check with a qualified electrician or serviceman if
you are in doubt as to whether the product is properly grounded.
Do not modify the plug provided to you. If it does not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet
installed by a qualified electrician.
This product is for use on a nominal 110-120 volt circuit and has a grounding plug that
looks like the plug illustrated in the figure. Make sure that the product is connected to an
outlet having the same configuration as the plug. No adapter or extension cord should be
used with this product.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS CONTINUED
Two persons are required to complete
the assembly process.
(Caution!! Please follow the assembly
steps below exactly to avoid injury .)
1. Pull up the Handrails at both sides
of the Frame (A) according to the
direction shown in the drawing to
the right until you hear it “click”
into place.
Note: To avoid unexpected accidents,
always assemble the treadmill with an
assistant. Please do not assemble by
yourself.
2. Pull up the left and right Uprights
according to the direction shown
in the drawing to the right until
you hear it “click” into place.
Note: To avoid unexpected accidents,
always assemble the treadmill with an
assistant. Please do not assemble by
yourself.
3. When tightening the rear POP-
PIN users must face the POP-PIN
and one hand pulls the upright and
the other tightens the POP-PIN.
Note: After tightening the POP-PIN,
there is 5MM of space between the
iron tubes.

Note: The cylinder is under high pressure and
care must be taken to avoid danger caused by
impact with other objects.
Note: If the cylinder is hit, it may cause
damage and the treadmill may not raise or
lower smoothly. When the user is folding the
treadmill, it could result in falling of the frame
and may cause injury.
Always turn the power off and unplug the
power plug from the outlet and treadmill
before folding up. When folding up the
running board, make sure you hear a “click”
sound to ensure the deck release pedal is
locked in position. If you want to use the
treadmill, step on the deck release pedal as
shown in the drawing to the right to release the
running board from the folded up position to
normal position. The running board will
automatically and slowly drop down.
Note: Be careful if children are nearby when
raising or lowering the treadmill. To move the
treadmill, fold the treadmill and hold the rear
adjust caps with your hands, then lean the
treadmill and do not move the treadmill until
the roller can be moved smoothly.
Note 2: Do not move the treadmill on uneven
ground.
Note 3: To avoid injury, do not stand under the
frame when the frame is descending.

CONSOLE OPERATION
BEFORE STARTING
SAFETY KEY & CLIP
Your BF-5.9T treadmill is equipped with a safety key that will disable the
treadmill if it is not in place. You should attach the clip end to your clothing.
The magnet end goes into the recess of the console. If at any time you need
to stop the treadmill quickly, simply pull the safety key off the console. This
will cut all power to the treadmill and it will come to a complete stop. To
resume your workout, place the safety key back in place. You will then need
to program your workout again.
KEY FUNCTIONS:
START – This key is used to begin any treadmill program or quick start.
PROGRAM This key is used to enter into the program mode. It is also be
used to change the values on the display readout between
Incline/Calorie and Speed/Distance.

STOP/RESET
– This key is used to stop the treadmill at any time. Press
STOP once, then press STOP a second time and hold it for 3
seconds, it will immediately

to the Start/Ready state.)
ENTER – This key is used to confirm the selection.
GENERAL OPERATION
1. Turn on the treadmill.
2. Straddle the running belt and stand on the side rails. Do not stand on
the walking belt while starting or stopping the treadmill.
Insert the safety key and attach the clip to your clothing.
At this time a beep will sound and the window will display 00:00
which indicates that the treadmill is in START/READY state.
3. Press START to start the treadmill at a speed of 1.0 mile/hr. Press
to decrease or increase the speed. Press to control incline angle.

To stop, step off the running belt onto the side rails. Press the STOP key.
The running belt will stop. (Press STOP once, and the Window will
display STOP. All the numbers will stop changing, and the treadmill will
pause for 60 seconds and then come back to the Start/Ready state. If you
press STOP once, then press STOP a second time and hold it for 3
seconds, the treadmill will immediately

to the Start/Ready state.)
**Range of speed:1.0~10 mile/hr – Step is 0.1 mile/hr.
**Range of Angle: 0~15 Level – Step is 1 Level.
4. Press PROGRAM in the Start/Ready state and you can also enter the
other functions.
** If the safety key is not placed in the recess, all the windows will
display “-------”, which means the treadmill has not entered the
Start/Ready state.
**When you are running, press PROGRAM to switch the display
between Incline/Calorie and Speed/Distance.
5. Press
and the fan will run. Press it again and the fan will stop.

PROGRAM (P1-P6) SETUP
1. Turn on POWER.
2. Press the PROGRAM key ~ The Speed window will be flashing.
3. Select a program from P1-P6 with the or keys.
4. Press the ENTER key to lock in your selection. The Incline window
will be flashing.
5. Adjust the levels from L1-L3 with the or keys.
6. Press the ENTER key to lock in your selection. The Time window
will be flashing except P1 (no time option).
7. Adjust the time from 5-99 minutes with the or keys.
8. Press ENTER key to lock in your selection.
9. Press START to begin the program.
** Time preset number: 25 (min)
Range of Time: 5 – 99 (min)
For each program there is a one minute warm up period before the program
begins. The speed is determined by the start speed of the level selected.
The 9 Hole (P1) program is a preset distance of 2.17 miles. No time option.
CHECKING YOUR HEART RATE
GRIP PULSE – To periodically check your heart rate, grasp the sensors at
the base of the console and after about 9 seconds, your pulse will be shown.

PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
The running belt can shift to one side or simply ‘skid over
when running. To center the belt using the 6mm Allen
wrench, run the machine at 3mph for a few minutes to
determine which side the belt is drifting towards; left or
right.
If the belt is drifting left
i) Turn the treadmill off and unplug from the machine
ii) Tighten the left bolt a ¼ turn (clockwise)
iii) Loosen the right bolt a ¼ turn (counterclockwise)
iv) Run the belt at 3 mph again for a few minutes
If the belt continues to drift to the left, repeat steps
If the belt is drifting right
i) Turn the treadmill off and unplug from the machine
ii) Tighten the right bolt a ¼ turn (clockwise)
iii) Loosen the left bolt a ¼ turn (counterclockwise)
iv) Run the belt at 3 mph again for a few minutes
If the belt continues to drift to the right, repeat steps
Once the running belt has been adjusted closer to the
center, the treadmill can be powered on again.
It is recommended that the deck be lubricated every
6~12 months according to the frequency of usage.
WARNING!
Do not use cleaner under the running belt.
i) Use 6mm Allen wrench to loosen the bolts in the
end caps. Remove excessive accumulations of dust,
dirt, and other substances from running deck. ONLY
use a clean soft cloth.
ii) Gently pull up the side of the running belt, and
dispense a thin layer of the lubricant on deck, and
spread evenly. DO NOT over lubricate.
iii) Center the belt (top of this page), and tighten the
end caps.
Check belt condition and adjust if necessary referring
to the steps above.
0.5~4.0 Miles / hr = lube every 1 year
4.0~7.0 Miles / hr = lube every 6 months
7.0~10.0 Miles / hr = lube every 3 months

WARRANTY
USA Warranty
Warranties may vary in other countries. See your local Bladez Fitness Dealer.
BLADEZ FITNESS extends the following exclusive, limited warranty of the BF-5.9T Treadmill, which
shall apply only to the use of the device in the home, for residential, non-commercial purposes only. Any
other use of the device shall void this warranty.
FRAME – Lifetime
Bladez Fitness warrants the Frame against defects in workmanship and materials for Lifetime, as long as it
remains in the possession of the original owner.
MOTOR – 15 Years
Bladez Fitness warrants the Motor against defects in workmanship and materials for a period of fifteen
years from the date of original purchase, as long as the device remains in the possession of the original
owner.
ELECTRONICS & PARTS – 1 Year
Bladez Fitness warrants the Electronic components and all original parts (other than the Motor) against
defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one year from the date of original purchase, as long as
the device remains in the possession of the original owner.
LABOR – 1 Year
Bladez Fitness shall cover the labor cost for the repair of the device for a period of one year from the date
of original purchase, as long as the device remains in the possession of the original owner.
EXCLUSIVE REMEDY
The exclusive remedy for any of the above warranties shall be repair or replacement of defective parts, or
the supply of labor to cure any defect, provided that labor shall be limited to one year. All labor shall be
supplied by the local retailer and the product must be located within the retailers service area. Products
located outside the retailers service area will not be covered by the labor warranty.
EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS
This warranty applies only to the original owner and is not transferable. This warranty is expressly limited
to the repair or replacement of a defective Frame, Electronic component, or defective part and is the sole
remedy of the warranty. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear.
BLADEZ FITNESS expressly disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including but not limited
to all warranties of fitness for a particular purpose or of merchantability. This warranty gives you specific
legal rights and your rights may vary from state to state.
WARRANTY REGISTRATION
Your warranty card must be completed and sent to BLADEZ FITNESS before a warranty claim can be
processed.
