WATER
Dig a hole the same depth as the root ball but twice
the width. For example, a root ball that's 6 inches in
width would need a hole that's 12 inches in width.
FILL
Once you've placed your plant,
backll the hole with dirt and
gently tamp down the soil to
remove air pockets.
How To Plant And Care For Your
Finally, water the surrounding soil
to settle your plant's roots, and
water your plant weekly until it's
established. You may need to
water your plant more during
times of drought or extreme heat.
Remove your plant from its shipped
container and place it in your hole.
If your plant is in a burlap sack, keep the
burlap on.
