SPECIFICATIONS:
Direct steam, stainless steel,

/3 jacketed oor mounted tilting
steam kettle, Vulcan-Hart Model No. ___________. Fully welded
hemispheric bottom kettle with type 304 stainless steel jacket and
lining (316 stainless steel liner, 20, 30 & 40 gallon). Jacket tested
to 35 psi (2.4 kg/cm
2
). Stainless steel enclosure for steam control
valve and self locking tilt mechanism. Kettle tilts forward 90° to
completely empty. Tubular stainless steel legs with anged feet.
Operates with 5 psi (0.4 kg/cm
2
) through 35 psi (2.4 kg/cm
2
) direct
steam includes safety valve. Steam control assembly includes
nickel plated condensate return line strainer and steam trap.
NSF listed. Meets ASME code.

STANDARD FEATURES

DIRECT STEAM DATA:
Steam supply to the kettles must:
1. Maintain a steady 13 psi ow under operating conditions.
2. Have a minimum ow (see chart) of dry steam.
3. Be adequately trapped to provide dry steam. (See ball oat
trap.)
