Use these notes in conjunction with the 3Com
OfficeConnect Wireless 54 Mbps 11g Compact USB
Adapter Getting Started Guide (part number
DUAUSB10075AAA01).
If you are prompted for the location of the device driver
during installation, insert the accompanying CD into the
CD-ROM drive, and then browse to the appropriate
driver folder for your operating system. Follow the
instructions on the wizard to install the driver for your
device.
New Features and Enhancements
WPA2 support — New encryption method that
provides a higher level of security for wireless
communication than WPA, its predecessor. WPA2
uses Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) with
Counter Mode with Cipher Block Chaining Message
Authentication Code Protocol (CCMP).
WHQL certified driver – This driver version has passed
the Windows
®
Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL)
testing, which means that it is certified compatible
with Microsoft Windows
®
operating systems.
Channel Selection
Use of this product is only authorized for the channels
approved by each country. To ensure that you are using
a channel that is approved in your country, select your
country from the Country Selection menu on the
Configuration > General screen of the wireless utility.

NOTE 1: This product is shipped with channels 1-14
enabled.
