e KG-XS20G Plus introduces some new features and functionality to the XS20G Series that are not included in

the manual for the original KG-XS20G radio. ese new features are as follows:

• Four New Display emes - e KG-XS20G Plus now has a new THEME menu item with with four op-

tions, labeled WHITE-1, WHITE-2, BLACK-1, and BLACK-2. For those who want to keep the theme from the

original XS20G, the name of the theme is now WHITE-2. e default theme is now BLACK-2.

• Night Mode Function - e KG-XS20G Plus adds a new feature called NIGHT mode. When Night Mode

is activated, the Bright Active (BRT-ACTV) and Bright Standby (BRT-STBY) values are reduced by 50%, and

an icon of a moon is shown in the top icon area of the display to indicate that Night Mode is active. e Night

Mode feature can be assigned to a programmable function key (PF key) for instant activation.

• Assignable TDR Function Key - In addition to the TDR key on the radio, the TDR function itself can now

be assigned to a programmable function key (PF key) for instant switching between single and dual display.

• Faster Channel Switching - e speed of changing channels via the front panel channel knob has been in-

creased.
