NOTE: This product is for private domestic DIY use only. It is not suitable for
commercial or trade use.
This 20V Wet & Dry Vacuum is suitable for private home use i.e for use with
cleaning dirt, debris and liquids from garages, workshops, as well as dust
extraction function.
The Wet & Dry Vacuum is to be used only for its prescribed purpose. Any
other use is deemed to be a case of misuse.

6. Important information – Product care
NOTE: Xfinity Battery and Charger not included. For any issuses
related directly to your purchased ALDI Xfinity Battery / charger,
contact the Customer Service of the manufacturer as listed on the
battery / charger packaging, manual or on the label on the battery /
charger.
This 20V Wet & Dry Vacuum uses Lithium Ion Battery Cells. Care
MUST be taken to ensure both the safety and life of the pack is
maintained. Ensure you have read all of the safety notes in the
previous pages before using the 20V Wet & Dry Vacuum.
Treat the battery pack with care and within the guidelines of this
manual.
If the battery pack does become immersed in water or any fluids,
or is subject to a severe drop or it does not operate within the
guidelines of this manual or the supplied manual, immediately STOP
using the battery pack and have it checked.
Use only ALDI Xfinity Plus 20V range of batteries and chargers.
7. Assembly
WARNING! To prevent serious injury from accidental
operation, remove the battery pack and make sure that
On/Off switch is in “O” position while undertaking any assembly
or maintenance.
7.1 To remove and install the appliance head (5).
To remove:
1)
Pull out the bottom of the side locking latch (7) to loosen the locked
part of the appliance head (5) from the tank (6) for one side. (See Fig. A1)
Then open the locking hook of the side locking latch (7). (See Fig. A2)
2) Release the other side with the same steps above.
3) Remove the appliance head (5).
To install:
1) Place the appliance head (5) on the tank (6) correctly. (See Fig. A3)

2) Align the side locking latch (7) with the notch on the ridge of the
appliance head (5) lip. (See Fig. A4). Then press the side locking latch (7)
down to fasten the engaged part to lock the appliance head (5) for one
side.(See Fig. A5).
3) Lock the other side with the same steps above.
4) The appliance head (5) is locked on the tank (6) firmly.
7.2 Assembling the hose holder (12)
1) To attach the hose holder (12), firstly remove the assembly screw
(10) by turning it in an anti-clockwise direction using a philips head
screwdriver (Not supplied). (See Fig. B1)
2)
Align the raised key-shaped part of the hose holder (12) with the
caved key-shaped part on the rear bottom of the wet & dry vacuum
vacuum. You will feel the two parts engage if done correctly. Insert
the screw (10) through the screw hole on the hose holder (12), then
through the hole of the key-shaped part on the rear bottom of the

wet & dry vacuum. (See Fig. B2)
3) Tighten the screw (10) using a philips head screwdriver (Not
supplied) in a clockwise direction until tight.(See Fig. B3)
7.3 Assembling the accessories for wet & dry vacuuming
To assemble the 1.8m Heavy-Duty crush resistant vacuum hose (18) to
hose outlet - suction (11) :
1)
Insert the 1.8m Heavy-Duty crush resistant vacuum hose (18) into hose
outlet - suction (11) and align the locking pin on the body connection
(17) with the groove on the hose outlet - suction (11). (See Fig. C1)
2) Turn the body connection (17) in a clockwise direction to secure the
hose (18) into position. (See Fig. C2)
To assemble the dusting brush (14) / crevice tool (15) / wide nozzle
tool (16) to the 1.8m Heavy-Duty crush resistant vacuum hose (18) :
1)
For wet & dry vacuuming, either the dusting brush (14) , crevice
tool (15) or wide nozzle tool (16) can be added to accessories

connection (19) by simply inserting them in until they are secure. (See
Fig. C3)
7.4 Assembling the accessories for blowing
To assemble the 1.8m Heavy-Duty crush resistant vacuum hose (18) to
hose outlet - blower (9) :
1)
Insert the 1.8m Heavy-Duty crush resistant vacuum hose (18) into hose
outlet - blower (9) and align the locking pin on the body connection (17)
with the groove on the hose outlet - blower (9). (See Fig. D1)
2) Turn the 1.8m Heavy-Duty crush resistant vacuum hose (18) in a
clockwise direction to secure the hose (18) into position (See Fig. D2)
7.5 To remove or install the battery pack (1) ( not supplied )
Depress the battery pack release button (2) firmly first and then
slide the battery pack (1) out from the battery port (22). (See Fig. E1)

Slide the fully charged battery pack (1) onto the battery port (22)
with sufficient force until it clicks into position. (See Fig. E2)
8. Operation
8.1 Switching on and off (See Fig. F)
Switch Position 0: OFF (All operations shut off)
Switch Position I: For normal vacuuming operation (wet or dry)
NOTE: When the maximum filling capacity is reached, switch off the
machine immediately. Before opening and emptying, always remove
the battery pack (1).
NOTE: Empty the tank into a bin or sink depending on the type of
waste. Only dispose of liquid waste into household sinks & drains
if safe to do so. Improper disposal of hazardous waste can cause
pollution and harm.

8.2 Wet vacuuming & Dry vacuuming
NOTE: Never use the wet and dry vacuum without the HEPA filter
installed.
WARNING: This wet and dry vacuum is not suitable for the
vacuuming of combustible liquids.
1) Ensure the tank (6) is completely dry and free from dust and dirt.
2) Always ensure that the HEPA filter (13) is secure.
3) Make sure the correct wet vacuuming or dry vacuuming
accessories are fitted according to the required working condition:
*
Wide nozzle tool (16) can be used to vacuum spilled liquids or dry
waste from carpets or hard floors. (See Fig. G1, G2).
* Dusting brush (14) can be used to vacuum dust from keyboards or
other items that collect dust. (See Fig. G3).
*
Crevice tool (15) can be used to vacuum small liquid spills or dry dirt
from corners, gaps or other hard to reach places. (See Fig. G4)
4) For dust extraction, the 1.8m Heavy-Duty crush resistant vacuum
hose (18) can connect to dust extraction outlets of AC/electric power
tools.(See Fig. G5)
5) Make sure the battery pack (1) is installed.
6) Press the “I” on the On/Off switch (8) to turn on the vacuum.
WARNING! Check the tank (6) regularly and empty the
waste collected when it is about 2/3 full.
WARNING! When wet vacuuming, the Safety float valve
(21) closes when the maximum tank (6) level is reached. In
doing so, the suction noise of the vacuum will change and
become louder. When this happens, you must switch off the
vacuum and empty the tank (6).

8.3 Blowing
WARNING! Wear a dust mask and eye protection if blowing
creates dust that might be inhaled.
WARNING! Keep bystanders clear from blowing debris.
WARNING! Any material left in the tank (6) may be blown out,
causing injury.
1) Ensure the tank (6) is empty and completely dry before using it as
a blower.
2) Make sure 1.8m Heavy-Duty crush resistant vacuum hose (18) is
connected to the hose outlet - blower (9).
3)
Before switching ON, ensure you are firmly holding the accessories
connection (19) of the 1.8m Heavy-Duty crush resistant vacuum
hose (18).
4) Make sure the battery pack (1) is installed.
5) Press the “I” on the On/Off switch (8) to turn on the blowing function.

9. Maintenance
WARNING: Remove the battery pack (1) from the wet &
dry vacuum before carrying out any adjustment,
servicing or maintenance.
• Always store your power tool in a dry place. Keep all working
controls free of dust.
• We recommend that you clean and dry the appliance immediately
after each use.
9.1 Cleaning the appliance head (5)
• Clean the appliance head (5) regularly with a damp cloth and
some soap followed by wiping down and drying before storing
away.
• Do not submerse the appliance head (5) in water or allow water to
enter the appliance head (5).
• Do not use cleaning agents or solvents. These may be aggressive
to the plastic parts on the appliance.
9.2 Cleaning the tank (6)
• The tank (6) can be cleaned with a damp cloth and soap or rinsed
under running water depending on the amount of dirt. Wipe down
and dry before storing away.
9.3. Cleaning the HEPA filter (13)
1) Remove the appliance head (5). Refer to 7.1.
2) Put the appliance head (5) upside down. (See Fig. H1).
3) Unlock the middle lock/unlock plug of the HEPA filter (13) by
turning it in an anti-clockwise direction. (See Fig. H2).
4) Set aside the lock/unlock plug. Remove the HEPA filter (13) by
pulling it up. (See Fig. H3)
5) Clean the HEPA filter (13) regularly by carefully patting it and
cleaning it with a fine brush or hand brush (not supplied).

NOTE: Do not submerse the HEPA filter in water. Do not use a
damp cloth to clean.
6) After finishing cleaning of HEPA filter (13), put it back on the
appliance head (5) by aligning the two notchs on the HEPA filter
(13) onto the two notches on the filter basket (20). (See Fig. H4).
Then replace the lock/unlock plug in the HEPA filter (13) by inserting
the bottom two sides sockets of the lock/unlock plug into the
grooves of the HEPA filter (13).(See Fig.H5). Rotate the lock/unlock
plug clockwise to lock the HEPA filter (13) onto the appliance head
(5) firmly. (See Fig. H6).
7) Re-install the appliance head (5).Refer to 7.1.

9.4. Check the safety float valve (21)
Check the Safety Float Valve (21) often to ensure it moves freely
within the filter basket (20). To do this, take the appliance head (5) by
the handle and tip it carefully so that the filter basket (20) is facing
upwards. The safety float valve (21) should move freely up and down.
9.5. General Maintenance
Before each use, inspect the general condition of the appliance and
check for the following:
• Loose hardware or screws.
• Misalignment or binding of moving parts.
• Check HEPA filter (13) is securely fitted.
• Damaged or cracked tank (6).
• Any other condition that may affect safe operation.
For battery tools
The ambient temperature range for tool and battery use and storage

10. Storage and Transportation
•Before storing, remove the battery pack.
•For short term storage:
1)
Use hose holder (12) to attach the body of 1.8m Heavy-Duty crush
resistant vacuum hose (18). (See Fig. I1). Put the wide nozzle tool (16)
connected with 1.8m Heavy-Duty crush resistant vacuum hose (18) on
the carry handle (4). (See Fig. I2)
2) Put the dusting brush (14) / crevice tool (15) into the On-board
holders (3). (See Fig. I2)

•For long term storage:
Store the wet & dry vacuum, battery pack and the accessories in a
dry, clean place which is protected from the effects of weather and
temperature and is out of the reach of children and animals.
For transportation in vehicles, remove the battery pack and the
accessories, secure the product against movement or falling to prevent
injury to persons or damage to this wet & dry vacuum.
