Application Instructions
Prepare the skin.
Application sites must be clean, dry
and free of any body lotions. Cleaning
with isopropyl alcohol should be
avoided or limited to situations in
which electrode adhesion is an issue
(excessively oily or lotion covered skin).
If alcohol is used, allow it to dry prior
to electrode application.
Excessive hair at the site should be
removed by clipping.
Apply the electrodes.
Remove the electrodes from the sealed
package. Separate and straighten the
leadwires.
Remove the first electrode from the
liner.
Place the electrode on the patient and
use gentle pressure to ensure contact
of the entire electrode surface to the
skin.
Repeat for each electrode.
Connect the leadwires
to the cable yoke.
Remove a DIN plug from the
disposable holder and plug it into the
corresponding color on the cable yoke.
Repeat for each DIN plug.

support the skin immediately adjacent
to the adhesive being removed.
