General Safety Instructions
Do not put kitchen foil or plastic onto the cooking
zones or within the ovens.
See ‘Cleaning your cooker’.
Don’t use the hob as a work surface
Don’t leave the hob zones switched on when not
in use.
Don’t place utensils on the hob.
Never allow anyone to climb or stand on the hob.
Induction heats up food and liquids very quickly;
take care until you are familiar with it.
Do not place empty cookware on the cooking
zones.
Don’t over heat fats and oils. If a pan should catch
fire Turn the controls off. Smother a flaming pan
on a surface unit by covering the pan completely
with a well fitting lid or baking tray. If available
use a multipurpose dry chemical or foam-type fire
extinguisher
Don’t heat unopened containers of food.
Ensure that the kitchen is well ventilated: keep
natural ventilation holes open or install a ventilation
device, (mechanical extractor hood).
Prolonged intensive use may call for additional
ventilation, for example opening a window. Use
extractor fans or hoods when fitted.
The cooker should be serviced by a qualified service
engineer and only approved spare parts used. Have
the installer show you the location of the cooker
control switch. Mark it for easy reference. Always
allow the cooker to cool and then switch off at the
mains and before cleaning or carrying out any
maintenance work, unless specified otherwise in this
guide.
All parts of the cooker become hot with use and will
retain heat even after you have stopped cooking.
Use dry oven gloves when applicable – using damp
gloves might result in steam burns when you touch
a hot surface. Never operate the cooker with wet
hands.
Do not spray aerosols in the vicinity of the cooker
while it is in on.
Do not store or use combustible materials, or
flammable liquids in the vicinity of this appliance.
Never leave the hotplate unattended at high heat
settings. Pans boiling over can cause smoking and
greasy spills may catch on fire. Never wear loose-
fitting or hanging clothes while using the appliance.
Be careful when reaching for items stored in cabinets
over the hotplate. Flammable material could be
ignited if brought in contact with a hot surface unit
and may cause severe burns.
Take great care when heating fats and oils, as they
will ignite if they get too hot.
Never leave a chip pan unattended. Always heat fat
slowly, and watch as it heats. Deep fry pans should
be only one third full of fat. Filling the pan too full of
fat can cause spill over when food is added. If you
use a combination of oils or fats in frying, stir them
together before heating, or as the fats melt.
When deep frying frost on frozen foods or moisture
on fresh foods can cause hot fat to bubble up and
over the sides of the pan. Carefully watch for spills or
overheating of foods when frying at high or medium
high temperatures. Never try to move a pan of hot
fat, especially a deep fat fryer. Wait until the fat is
cool.
Always use other electrical appliances away from
your cooker.
The cooker is designed for cooking foods only and
must not be used for any other purpose.
When the oven is on DO NOT leave the oven door
open for longer than necessary.
The specification of this cooker should not be altered.
This appliance is heavy, so take care when moving it.
When the cooker is not in use, ensure that the control
knobs are in the off position.
WARNING: If the ceramic surface is cracked,
switch off the appliance to avoid the possibility of
electric shock.
This appliance is not intended for use
by persons (including children) with
reduced physical sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning

F. Hob Control Display
Your Induction hob consists of 5 Induction cooking
zones. Each cooking area is independently operated
by a control knob located on the facia of the range
cooker.
The Hob Control Display at the front centre of the
hob area informs you of the Induction hob functions
with the following symbols:
H Hot Hob Indicator
P Power Boost Setting
U Pan Recognition – also known
as “Pan Missing”
A Automatic Heat up
L Child Lock
U Low Temperature Setting
Induction
Hob Control Display
H Hot hob Indicator
Each cooking zone of your induction hob has a
residual heat indicator to inform you that the area is
hot from cooking. The symbol “H” will be shown in
the hob control display. This indicates that the hob is
hot.
WARNING:
EVEN WHEN THE INDICATORS GO OUT,
THE SURFACE MAY NOT HAVE COOLED
COMPLETELY.
P - Power Boost Setting
All of the induction cooking zones have Power Boost
available, activated by turning the control knob
clockwise until P is shown on the hob control display.
Power Boost allows additional power to be made
available for each of the cooking areas. This is
useful to bring a large pan of water to the boil quickly.
The Power Boost function operates for a maximum
of 10 minutes on each zone, after which the power is
automatically reduced to setting 9.
When using the Power Boost function, the cooking
areas are paired.
The table below shows the areas that are paired.
Areas A and B are paired together as are areas D
and E.
7
The centre area, C, runs independently regardless of
the use of other cooking areas.
This means when using area A on power boost and
then switching area B to power boost also, area A will
have its power slightly reduced. The last one of the
pair switched to power boost takes priority. Areas D
and E work in the same way.
This is a built in safety device.
The power boost function can be de-activated by
turning the control knob to a lower setting.

U - Pan Recognition
If a cooking area is switched on and there is no pan
in place or if the pan is too small for the cooking area,
there will be no heat generated. The symbol ‘
U will
appear on the hob control display; this is called the
“pan-missing symbol”. Simply place a pan of the
correct size on the cooking area and the ‘U symbol
will disappear and cooking can begin. After 10 min
without detecting any pan, the cooking zone switches
off automatically and can only be switched on again
after the knob has been returned to the zero setting.

1) Use only pans that are suitable for Induction
hobs. We recommend stainless steel, enamelled
steel or cast iron pans with enamelled bases.
2) Pots and pans should have thick, smooth, flat
bottoms. This ensures that cooking is quick and
energy efficient.
Never use a round bottomed wok even with a
stand.
3) Make sure that the base of the pan is clean
and dry to prevent any residue burning onto the
hob panel. This also helps prevent scratches and
deposits (such as lime specks).
If the cookware is too small for the cooking
area, it will not work (Refer to pan Recognition
section). Using a lid will help the contents boil more
quickly.
A - Automatic Heat-up
This function is available on all of the cooking areas.
It allows you to place a pan on the hob, select the
automatic heat-up function A and then the power
level of your choice (1 to 9). The pan is then heated
at 100% for the time specified for that power level
(see table below) and is then reduced to the power
you have selected.
For example: Select Automatic Heat Up and then
level 4, the hob will heat at 100% for 2 minutes 56
seconds and then reduce to power level 4.
This could be used for bringing a large pan of water
to the boil in readiness for cooking pasta.
The function is selected by turning the control knob
momentarily anti-clockwise until the symbol “A” is
shown on the hob control display. Once the “A” is
displayed, turn the control knob to the level of your
choice. (See table below)
When the Automatic Heat up function is activated,
the hob control display will alternately flash between
the “A” setting and the chosen power level.
Once the automatic heat up time has ended the hob
control display will stop flashing and will display the
chosen power level.
The Automatic Heat up function can be stopped by
either:
*Turning the control knob back to the “0” power
setting.
Or
*Turning the control knob to the “9” or “P” power
setting.
For your guidance the table below shows the time
available at 100% power depending on the power
level selected in the Automatic mode.

L - Child Lock
To prevent the unwanted use of the hob, by children,
it can be locked.
This can only be activated when all the cooking
zones are off.
To lock the hob, turn together induction controls
2 and 4 simultaneously anti-clockwise for
approximately 3 seconds until ‘L appears in the hob
control display for all cooking areas.
This will NOT affect the ovens or grill, they can still
be used.
To un-lock the hob turn controls 2 and 4
simultaneously anti-clockwise until the ‘L symbol
disappears.
Low Temperature Setting
Each cooking area is equipped with a Low
Temperature Setting. Turn the control knob
clockwise to between the 0 and the 1, until U is
displayed. This will maintain a temperature of around
65ºC, which will keep food warm or water very gently
simmering ready to cook vegetables or is useful for
melting butter without it burning.
The maximum time this setting can be used is 2 hrs.
To increase the heat, just turn the control knob to the
required level.
Boil Dry Function
This function identifies when the temperature of
the pan rises rapidly and works to maintain a safe
level of pan temperature. It should not interfere with
normal cooking.
PLEASE REMEMBER NOT TO LEAVE THE HOB
UNATTENDED. CARE SHOULD BE TAKEN TO
NOT ALLOW YOUR COOKWARE TO BOIL DRY.
The Glide-Out Grill
CAUTION: Accessible parts may be hot when
the grill is in use.
BEFORE USING THE GRILL FOR THE FIRST
TIME: turn on the grill and run for 30 minutes with the
grill pan in position, pushed fully back with the grill door
OPEN.
Make sure the room is well ventilated to the outside
air, by opening windows or turning on a cooker hood
for example. We recommend that this is not carried
out by people with respiratory problems.
Using the grill
For best results preheat for 2 minutes with the grill pan in
position. Open the grill door and pull the grill pan carriage
forward using the handle.
The grill pan gets very hot when the grill is on. Don’t
touch the pan or trivet unless you are sure it is cool.
After placing your food on the grill grid, slide the grill
carriage into the grill chamber. Make sure it is pushed
right in. Adjust the heat to suit by turning the knob.
NEVER GRILL WITH THE DOOR CLOSED.
The grill has two elements
that allow either the whole
area of the pan to be
heated or just the right
hand half.
To heat the right hand half
turn it anticlockwise.
9
The Ovens
Before using for the first time, to dispel manufacturing
odours turn the ovens to 200°C and run for 30
minutes. Make sure the room is well ventilated to
the outside air by opening windows or turning on a
cooker hood for example.
The Left Hand Oven
The left hand oven is a Multi-function oven. As well
as the oven fan and fan element, it is fitted with two
extra heating elements, one visible in the top of the
oven and the second under the oven base. Take
care to avoid touching the top element and element
deflector when placing or removing items from the
oven. For more detail on this oven see the section
‘Multi-function oven’.
The Multi-function oven has two controls, a function
selector and a temperature setting knob.
Turn the function selector
control to a cooking
function.
Turn the oven temperature
knob to the temperature
you need.
The oven indicator light
will glow until the oven has
reached the temperature
you selected. It will then
cycle on and off during
cooking.
To heat the whole grill,
turn the knob clockwise to
position 3.
The neon indicator light by the grill control will come on.
Don’t leave the grill on for more than a few
moments, with the grill pan pulled forward.
The grill pan grid can be set to four different grilling
heights by a combination of turning it back to front
and turning it upside down.
The grill pan and grill pan carriage can be easily
removed for cleaning. See the ‘Cleaning your
Cooker section of these instructions.
10
The Right Hand Tall Oven
The fan in the right hand oven circulates hot air
continuously, which means faster more even
cooking.
The recommended cooking temperatures for a
fanned oven are generally lower than a non-fanned
oven.
The right hand Tall oven control is on the right hand
side of the control panel.
Turn the oven temperature
knob to the temperature
you need.
The oven indicator light
will glow until the oven has
reached the temperature
you selected. It will then
cycle on and off during
cooking.
Multi-function oven functions
The Multi-function oven has many varied uses. We
suggest you keep a careful eye on your cooking until
you are familiar with each function. Remember - not
all functions will be suitable for all food types.
Defrost
This function operates the fan to circulate cold
air only. No heat is applied. This enables small items
such as desserts, cream cakes and pieces of meat,
fish and poultry to be defrosted.
Defrosting in this way speeds up the process and
protects the food from flies. Pieces of meat, fish and
poultry should be placed on a rack, over a tray to
catch any drips. Be sure to wash the rack and tray
after defrosting.
Defrost with the oven door closed.
Large items, such as whole chickens and joints
should not be defrosted in this way. We recommend
this be carried out in a refrigerator.
Defrosting should not be carried out in a warm oven
or when an adjoining oven is in use or still warm.
Ensure that dairy foods, meat and poultry are
completely defrosted before cooking.
Fan oven
This function operates the fan and the heating
element around it. An even heat is produced
throughout the oven, allowing you to cook large
amounts quickly.
Fan oven cooking is particularly suitable for baking
on several shelves at one time and is a good ‘all-
round’ function. It may be necessary to reduce the
temperature by approximately 10°C for recipes
previously cooked in a conventional oven.
If you wish to pre-heat the oven, wait until the
indicator light has gone out before inserting the food.
Fanned grilling in the oven
This function operates the fan whilst the top
element is on. It produces a more even, less fierce
heat than a conventional grill. For best results, place
the food to be grilled, on a grid over a roasting tin,
which should be smaller than a conventional grill
pan. This allows greater air circulation. Thick pieces
of meat or fish are ideal for grilling in this way, as the
circulated air reduces the fierceness of the heat from
the grill. The oven door should be kept closed whilst
grilling is in progress, so saving energy. You will also
find that the food needs to be watched and turned
less than for normal grilling. Pre-heat this function
before cooking.
Fan assisted oven
This function operates the fan, circulating air
heated by the elements at the top and the base of
the oven. The combination of fan and conventional
cooking (top and base heat) makes this function ideal
for cooking large items that need thorough cooking,
such as a large meat roast. It is also possible to
bake on two shelves at one time, although they will
need to be swapped over during the cooking time, as
the heat at the top of the oven is greater than at the
base, when using this function.
This is a fast intensive form of cooking; keep an
eye on the food cooking until you have become
accustomed to this function.
11
Conventional oven (top and
base heat)
This function combines the heat from the top and
base elements. It is particularly suitable for roasting
and baking pastry, cakes and biscuits. Food cooked
on the top shelf will brown and crisp faster than on
the lower shelf, because the heat is greater at the
top of the oven than at the base, as in ‘Fan assisted
oven’ function. Similar items being cooked will need
to be swapped around for even cooking. This means
that foods requiring different temperatures can be
cooked together, using the cooler zone in the lower
half of the oven and hotter area to the top.
Browning element
This function uses the element in the top of the
oven only. It is a useful function for the browning or
finishing of pasta dishes, vegetables in sauce and
lasagne, the item to be browned being already hot
before switching to the top element.
Base heat
This function uses the base element only. It
will crisp up your pizza or quiche base or finish off
cooking the base of a pastry case on a lower shelf.
It is also a gentle heat, good for slow cooking of
casseroles in the middle of the oven or for plate
warming.
The Browning and Base heat functions are useful
additions to your oven, giving you flexibility to finish
off items to perfection. With use, you will soon realise
how these functions can combine to extend your
cooking skills.
Both Ovens
The wire shelves should always be pushed firmly to
the back of the oven.
Baking trays meat tins etc should be placed level
centrally on the oven’s wire shelves. Keep all trays
and containers away from the sides of the oven as
over browning of the food may occur.
NOTE - Do not cover the base of your Multi-
function oven with cooking foil.
For even browning, the maximum recommended size
of a baking tray is 340mm by 340mm.
When the oven is on, don’t leave the door open for
longer than necessary, otherwise the knobs may get
very hot.
Always leave a ‘fingers width’ between dishes on the
same shelf; this allows the heat to circulate freely
around them.
The Cook & Clean oven liners (see Cleaning your
cooker) work better when fat splashes are avoided.
Cover meat when cooking.
Sufficient heat rises out of the oven while cooking to
warm plates in the grill compartment.
Steam
When cooking foods with high water content (e.g.
oven chips) there may be some steam visible at
the grille at the rear of the hotplate. This is perfectly
normal.
Cooking high moisture content foods can create a
‘steam burst’, when the oven door is opened. When
opening the oven stand well back and allow any
steam to disperse.
The Oven shelves
There are 4 standard oven selves and 1 drop shelf.
A standard shelf B Drop shelf
With the exception of the top position in the left hand
multifunction oven, which will only accept the drop
shelf, any shelf can be fitted in any of the positions.
The oven shelves are retained when pulled forward
but can be easily removed and refitted.
The shelves should not be fitted directly one above
the other. When cooking on more than one shelf
always leave at least one runner pace between them.
To remove a
shelf first make
sure it is pushed
fully back, so that
the shelf stop is
in line with the
kink in the side
of the shelf.
Lift up the front
of the shelf so
the shelf will
pass over the
shelf stop.
12
Pull the shelf forward.
To refit the shelf, hold it so it is slightly up at the front
and rest the back of the shelf on the side wires. Push
the shelf to the back of the oven and then lower the
front so that it is resting on the side wires.
Tall oven shelves
The tall oven is supplied with four normal cooking
shelves
and a plate warming shelf.
When using the tall oven you can cook on all four
shelves at the same time; but make sure they are
well spaced out to allow the hot air to circulate.
Cleaning your cooker
Before thorough cleaning, isolate from the
electricity supply.
Never use paint solvents, washing soda, caustic
cleaners, biological powders, bleach, chlorine
based bleach cleaners, coarse abrasives or salt.
Don’t mix different cleaning products - they may
react together with hazardous results.
If you want to move your cooker for cleaning, see
the section called
‘Moving your cooker’.
All parts of the cooker can be cleaned with hot soapy
water - but take care that no surplus water seeps into
the appliance.
Induction Hob cleaning
It is necessary to clean the unit regularly to help
maintain performance, efficiency, hygiene and safety.
Whenever possible, wipe up spillages as they occur
to prevent deposits becoming burnt-on. These
can be difficult to remove. Allow unit to cool before
commencing to clean it.
Hob
We recommend that you use a cleaning product
developed specifically for ceramic surfaces.
Daily care
First of all, be sure that all heat indicator lights are off
and the cooking surface is cool. Apply a small dab,
about the size of a 10p piece, of ceramic cooking
cleaning cream in the centre of each area to be
cleaned. Dampen a clean paper towel and work the
cleaning cream on the cooking surface as if you were
cleaning a window. As a final step, wipe the cooking
surface with a clean, dry paper towel.
Cleaning for spills
For spills and boil-overs that occur while cooking,
turn the unit off and wipe the area surrounding the
hot zone with a clean paper towel. If a spill (other
than a sugary substance) is on the hot zone, do not
clean until the unit is completely cooled down and
follow the instructions below (“Cleaning for burned
on spills”). If you accidentally melt anything on the
cooking or if you spill foods with a high sugar content
(preserves, tomato sauce, etc.), REMOVE the spill
IMMEDIATELY with a ceramic hob scraper, while the
unit is still hot.
IMPORTANT: Use an oven glove to protect your
hand from potential burns. Scrape the major spill
or melted material from the cooking zone and
push into a cold area. Then, turn the unit “OFF”
and allow to cool before cleaning further.
13
For each side, support the side rail with one hand
and with the other hand lift up and out of the side
clips.
For safety, push the side rails back into the grill
chamber. The side rails can be removed to make
cleaning the grill chamber easier by unhooking them
from the grill chamber sides.
Slides can be wiped clean with a soft cloth and mild
detergent.
DO NOT use any abrasive substance.
DO NOT put the side runners in the dish washer.
When you have finished, hook the side rails back
on to the sides of the chamber. To refit the frame
pull the side rails forward and for each side in turn,
support the side rail and press the frame down in to
the side rails. Replace the grill pan.
Control Panel and Oven Doors
For best results gentle liquid detergents should be used.
The control panel and control knobs should only be
cleaned with a soft cloth wrung out in clean hot soapy
water - but take care that no surplus water seeps into
the appliance. Wipe with a clean dampened cloth
then polish with a dry cloth. The oven doors should
only be cleaned with a soft cloth wrung out in clean
hot soapy water.
After the cooking surface cools down and the
heat indicator lights go off, use the daily care
procedure as outlined above.
Cleaning for burned-on spills
In the unlikely event that food has burnt onto the
surface of your induction hob, be sure that the heat
indicator lights are off and the hob is cool. Remove
excess burned-on substance with a ceramic hob
scraper. Hold the scraper at approximately a 30°
angle to the surface and scrape off the burned-on
matter.
IMPORTANT: Take care when using a sharp
scraper. When you have removed as much as
possible with the scraper clean using the daily
care procedure as described above.
Glide-Out Grill
Before you remove any of the grill parts for
cleaning make sure they are cool.
The grill pan and grid should be washed in hot
soapy water. After grilling meats or any foods that
soil, leave to soak for a few minutes in the sink
immediately after use. Stubborn particles may be
removed from the grid by using a nylon brush.
Alternatively the grill pan can be washed in a dish
washer.
To remove the grill pan support frame, pull the grill
pan forward.
Lift the grill pan clear of the support frame.
The support frame is held to the side rails by two
clips on each side.
14
Cleaning Brass Components
Uncoated natural brass is used as part of the
authentic finish and may tarnish with age.
To regain a polished finish, these areas should be
cleaned using a proprietary cleaner .
Main Oven
The shelf supports on the oven sides can be
removed for cleaning.
First remove the oven
shelves then pull the
top of the shelf support
up and away from the
oven side and then lift
the support away from
the locating bracket in
the oven side at the
bottom.
To refit the side support, first
locate the tag at the bottom of
the support in the slot in the
locating bracket in the oven side.
Then locate the tops of the side
arms in the holes at the top.
The panels on the oven sides are fixed and cannot
be removed. They have been coated with special
enamel that partly cleans itself.
This does not stop all marks on the lining, but helps
to reduce the amount of manual cleaning needed.
The Cook & Clean panels work better above
200°C. If you do most of your cooking below this
temperature, occasionally remove the shelf supports
and wipe the panels with a lint free cloth and hot
soapy water. The panels should then be dried and
the oven heated at 200°C for about one hour. This
will ensure the Cook & Clean panels are working
effectively.
Don’t use steel wool (or any other materials that will
scratch the surface). Don’t use oven cleaning pads.
The Tall Oven
To clean the oven sides slide out the shelves, unhook
the supports from the oven sides and lift out.
Moving your cooker
Switch off the electricity supply.
The cooker is heavy; two people may be required
to move it.
There are two levelling rollers at the back and also
two screw down levelling feet at the front.
Open the grill door and right hand oven door so that
you can get a good grip on the bottom of the fascia
panel as you move the oven.
Lift the front of the cooker slightly and pull forward.
Do not move the oven by pulling the handrail,
door handles or knobs.
Move the oven a bit at a time, checking behind it to
make sure the gas hose is not caught. Make sure
both electricity and gas cables have sufficient slack
to move the cooker forward as you go along.
15
If a stability chain is fitted, release it as you ease
the cooker out. Don’t forget to refit it when you
replace the cooker.
When you replace the cooker, again check behind to
make sure that the electricity and gas cables are not
caught or trapped.

Steam is coming from the oven.
When cooking foods with a high water content there
may be some steam visible at the rear grille. Take
care when opening the oven door, as there may be
a momentary puff of steam when the oven door is
opened. Stand well back and allow any steam to
disperse.
The oven fan is noisy.
The note of the oven fan may change as the oven
heats up - this is perfectly normal.
The knobs get hot when I use the oven or the grill,
can I avoid this?
Yes, this is caused by heat rising from the oven or
the grill, and heating them up. Don’t leave the oven
door open. Make sure that the grill pan is pushed
right back to the ‘backstop’ when grilling.
Food is cooking too slowly, too quickly, or
burning.
Cooking times may differ from your previous oven.
Individual tastes may require the temperature to be
altered either way, to get the results you want. Try
cooking at a different temperature setting.
The oven is not cooking evenly.
Do not use a tin or baking tray larger than 340mm x
340mm.
If you are cooking a large item, be prepared to turn it
round during cooking.
If two shelves are used, check that space has been
left for the heat to circulate. When a baking tray is put
into the oven, make sure it is placed centrally on the
shelf.
Check that the door seal is not damaged and that the
door catch is adjusted so that the door is held firmly
against the seal.
A dish of water when placed on the shelf should be
the same depth all over. (For example, if it is deeper
at the back, then the back of the cooker should be
raised up or the front lowered). If the cooker is not
level arrange for your supplier to level it for you.
Oven temperature getting hotter as the cooker
gets older.
If turning the knob down has not worked or only
worked for a short time then you may need a new
thermostat. This should be fitted by a service person.
Grill not cooking properly.
Are you using the pan and trivet supplied with the
cooker? Is the pan being used on the grill carriage,
not the floor of the compartment? Is the grill tray
pushed fully back to the stop?

Positioning the Cooker
The diagrams show the minimum recommended
distance from the cooker to nearby surfaces.
The cooker should not be placed on a base.
*door opening width - more is needed for handles, see below
Induction
The hotplate surround should be level with, or above,
any adjacent work surface. Above hotplate level a
gap of 75mm should be left between each side of the
cooker and any adjacent vertical surface.
For non-combustible surfaces (such as unpainted
metal or ceramic tiles) this can be reduced to 25mm.
A minimum space of 800mm is required between
the top of the hotplate and a horizontal combustible
surface.
Any cooker hood should be installed in accordance
with the hood manufacturer’s instructions.
Surfaces of furniture and walls at the sides and rear
of the appliance should be heat, splash and steam
resistant. Certain types of vinyl or laminate kitchen
furniture are particularly prone to heat damage and
discolouration. We cannot accept responsibility
for damage caused by normal use of the cooker
to any material that de-laminates or discolours
at temperatures less than 65°C above room
temperature.
For safety reasons curtains must not be fitted
immediately behind the cooker.
We recommend a gap of 910mm between units to
allow for moving the cooker. Do not box the cooker
in; it must still be possible to move the cooker in and
out for cleaning and servicing.
Unpacking the Cooker
Do not take any packaging off the cooker until it is
directly in front of the place it is to be installed (unless
it will not fit through a door in its outer packaging).
Moving the Cooker
The cooker is very heavy. Take great care.
We recommend two people manoeuvre the cooker.
Ensure that the floor covering is firmly fixed, or
removed to prevent it being disturbed when moving
the cooker around. You will need the levelling tool.
From the back tilt the cooker forward and remove the
rear half of the polystyrene base pack.
Repeat from the front and remove the front half of the
poly base.
LOWER THE TWO REAR ROLLERS.
First fit the levelling tool on the hexagonal adjusting
nut as shown below.
Make 10 complete (360º) turns clockwise. (This
means turning and removing the levelling tool 20
times).
Make sure you lower BOTH REAR ROLLERS. There
are two adjusting nuts, one for each roller, at both the
front bottom corners of the cooker.
18
Open the grill door and the Tall oven door. Grip under
the facia panel and lift the front of the cooker.
Carefully push the cooker backwards close to its final
position leaving just enough space to get behind it.
Take care not to damage the power cable.
Do not use the door
handles or control knobs to
manoeuvre the cooker.
Use the hotplate and griddle
bowl areas.
Remove the pack base tray.
Levelling
You are recommended to use a spirit level on a shelf
in one of the ovens to check for level.
Place the cooker in its intended position taking care
not to twist it within the gap between the kitchen units
as damage may occur to the cooker or the units.
The front feet and rear rollers can be adjusted to
level the cooker. To adjust the height of the rear of
the cooker use the levelling tool supplied to turn
the adjusting nuts at the front bottom corners of the
cooker. To set the front feet turn the bases to raise or
lower.
Electrical Connection
This appliance must be installed by a qualified
electrician to comply with the relevant regulations
and also the local electricity supply company
requirements.
WARNING: THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED

The cooker must be connected to the correct
electrical supply as stated on the voltage label on
the cooker, through a suitable cooker control unit
incorporating a double pole switch having a contact
separation of at least 3mm in all poles. This cooker
must not be connected to an ordinary domestic
power point.
The total electrical load of the appliance is
approximately 16.55kW.
The cable size used should be suitable for this load
and comply with all local requirements.
Access to the mains terminal is gained by removing
the electrical terminal cover box on the back panel.
Connect the mains cable to the correct terminals for
your electrical supply type.
