The E6524 MAN VariChain is dedicated for the use within the d&b
Transformer and Installer Flying Systems to aim C3/C4 cabinets at
an precise vertical splay angle between 0

°
.

There are certain rules for installation that must be

is 600 kg/1322 lb.
Assembly

The desired vertical splay angle can be set by turning the barrel
adjuster
[A]
. Turning clockwise the angle will be increasing, turning
counter clockwise the angle will be decreasing. After a full rotation
the adjuster will be noticeable and audible locked to the related
position.
Before attaching the chain to the D-rings (Studs) at the cabinets,
first turn the barrel adjuster clock wise to the maximum length
of the chain.
Attache the chain with the barrel adjuster upwards
[Fig. 1]
to
the D-rings at the cabinets.
Set the desired angle before lifting the cabinets by turning the
barrel adjuster counter clockwise to the lock position needed
for the desired angle as shown in the table below.

The angles related to the lock position of the barrel adjuster are
roughly values while the TransCalc and InstallCalc calculates with
the exat values. Therefore every C3/C4 array should be planed
using TransCalc or InstallCalc.
