Guide to Key Features 7 Locking the rear wheels
The rear wheels on the Multi Tilt can be locked
to stop the chair from moving. Press the
brake down to hold the wheel in to position.
Pressing the rear edge of the brake releases
the brake and frees the wheel for movement.
Make sure the wheels are not locked when
attempting to move the chair as this could
cause damage to the rubber wheel.
8 Removing the seat cushion
The seat cushion can easily be removed by
releasing the Velcro strip at the rear of the
cushion which is located under the seat base.
Simply pull the cushion towards you and
release the Velcro from the front edge. The
footrest may need to be elevated to gain easier
access to this. For further seat cushion options
see our brochure.
9 Changing the leg rest elevation
The side release handle allows the leg rest to
elevate when lifted and for you to adjust the leg
height positions. When released, this handle
will lock the leg rest into position. To retract
the footrest, release the handle and push with
pressure to close the footrest. Please do not
force the leg rest or sit on the leg rest when
elevated, as this is likely to cause damage to
the frame structure.

1 Manoeuvring your chair
Use the push handle at the rear of the chair
to move the chair and the user. It is important
to use the handle to move the chair, as using
other parts of the chair could cause damage to
the internal structure.
2 Changing the back cushions
The back cushions are attached with Velcro
and can be changed to suit the user and the
required seating posture. See our brochure for
available back options. Ensure the Velcro is
kept clean from fluff to avoid damage.
3 Changing the back angle of
the chair
Attached to the Push Handle at the rear of the
chair is a brake lever. Squeeze the break lever
and hold to release the Push Handle. Gently
push down on the Push Handle to tilt the chair.
Release the break lever to lock the chair in to
position.
Once your tilt position has been achieved
the angle of the leg rest can be adjusted for
comfort and support. See point 9.
4 Adjusting the footplate height
The footplate height is changed by pulling both
the left and the right plungers either side of the
plate. The plungers release the footrest and
allow the footplate to slide up or down to the
required height.
Lock the footplate into position by ensuring the
plungers click into the required slots.
5 Adjusting the footplate angle
Pull the right plunger to release and twist
slightly to lock the plunger out, now do the
same again with the left plunger. This will allow
the footrest to be completely folded away or
to be adjusted to two different positions to rest
the feet. The footplate can also be removed if
required.
6 Adjusting the seat depth
The seat depth is adjusted at the rear of the
chair by using the red locking button. Pull the
locking button to release the lock position
and whilst holding the handle pull or push the
mechanism to achieve the required position.
Secure this position by releasing the red
locking button so that it locks into the required
slot. Please ensure the seat depth is secured
into position before anyone sits in the chair.

This chair has been designed with options for mobility, comfort and support; the
chair should be moved correctly by using the Push Handle at the back of the
chair. By following the guidelines provided you will ensure the long life of your
chair. Please do not sit on the arms or cause an obstruction to the working/
moving parts, as this will cause damage to the internal frame and potentially be
unsafe for the user. It may also invalidate the warranties.
Care and Cleaning
Cleaning your chair regularly will maintain the life of your product whilst keeping
it hygienically clean to use. The Vapour Permeable fabric is washable at 95° and
can be tumble dried. Please ensure the internal cushions are removed before
washing the covers. For cleaning instructions on the outer fabric please consult
your supplier for further details, as fabrics have different specifications and
requirements.
Please keep the frame free from dust build up on the internal frame, especially on
the moving joints, this will avoid dryness and allow the chair to freely work.
