Congratulations on your purchase of the

Lionel Pedestrian Walkover. This new

Lionel accessory is made of injection molded

plastic construction and comes fully assem-

bled. The pedestrian walkover can be placed

on any Lionel O or O-27 three-rail layout

and is designed to span either one or two

track sections.

Installation of your Pedestrian

Walkover

Carefully unpack your pedestrian walkover

from the foam. You will notice that there are

two cross members attached to the base of

your walkover. These cross members are

used to support your pedestrian walkover

during shipment and are not needed for

installation. To remove these cross members,

simply remove the eight screws, which attach

the cross member to the base using a Phillips

head screwdriver. Please see the diagram

below. After you have removed the cross

members, you can discard them.

Now that you have removed the cross

members, you are ready to place your pedes-

trian walkover on your layout. If you are

placing your walkover over one track section,

simply align your track to the center of the

walkover. There is no need rigidly attach this

to your layout, so you can simply set it into

place.

If you are placing your walkover over two

track sections, you will need to keep a few

things in mind. Firstly, the inside span of

your walkover is 10 3/4 inches. Because of

this limitation, your two track sections

should not be more than 6 inches apart, cen-

ter-rail to center-rail. Either way, you are no

ready to allow pedestrians to cross your

tracks with safety.
