vibration,dust,moistureandcold.Avoidsourcesof
humming(transformers,motors).Topreventreor
electricalshock,donotexposethespeakertorainor

• Topreventtheenclosurefromwarpingordiscoloring,
donotplacethespeakerwhereitwillbeexposedto
directsunlightorexcessivehumidity.

• Donotplacethespeakerwhereforeignobjectssuchas
waterdripsmightfall.Itmightcauseare,damageto
thespeaker,and/orpersonalinjury.
• Donotplacethespeakerwhereitisliabletobe
knockedoverorstruckbyfallingobjects.Stable
placementwillalsoensurebettersoundperformance.

• Anytimeyounotedistortion,reducethevolumecontrol
onyourampliertoalowersetting.Neverallowyour
ampliertobedriveninto“clipping”.Otherwisethe
speakermaybedamaged.
• Whenusinganamplierwitharatedoutputpower
higherthanthenominalinputpowerofthespeaker,
careshouldbetakennevertoexceedthespeaker’s
maximuminput.
• Donotattempttocleanthespeakerwithchemical
solventsasthismightdamagethenish.Useaclean,
drycloth.
• Donotattempttomodifyorxthespeaker.Contact
qualiedYamahaservicepersonnelwhenanyserviceis
needed.Thecabinetshouldneverbeopenedforany
reasons.
• Secureplacementorinstallationistheowner’s
responsibility.
Yamahashallnotbeliableforanyaccidentcaused
byimproperplacementorinstallationofthespeaker.
Takingcareofthespeaker
Tomaintainthespotlessglossysurfaceofthe
polishednish,wipeitwithasoft,drycloth.To
avoiddamagetothenish,donotapplychemical
solvents,suchasalcohol,benzine,thinner,
insecticide,etc.Also,donotuseadampcloth,or
anytypeofcloththatcontainschemicalsolvents,or
placeaplasticorvinylsheetontopofthespeaker.
Otherwise,thenishmaypeel,thecolormayfade,
orthesheetmaysticktothesurface.
