Sennheiser MD 516 FE is a dynamic microphone with a super-cardioid characteristic, suitable for demanding stage use for the transmission of voice and instruments.

It features a glass fiber-reinforced, robust housing for durability and a high resistance to feedback as a result of frequency-independent directivity characteristic. The microphone also has a non-clinking, lockable switch and offers good structure-borne sound insulation through the use of SCS (Syntetic Calibrated Spring). Uncomplicated cleaning of the protective casing is possible through the use of a bayonet catch. The microphone comes with a pouch and a 3-pin XLR-3 plug (Canon).
