*Product Overview
- Insert Cards Correctly
1. To ensure compactness, the card reader is designed with the SD and MS
card slots upside down, which better makes use of the room of the Printed
Circuit Board.

2. Insert cards to the end gently and correctly to avoid damage to the pin.
3. Get to the files
Windows:
Insert cards >>> Open “This PC” >>> Find the correspondent folder under
“Devices and Drives”
Mac OS:
Insert cards >>> Open “Finder” >>> Find the correspondent folder under
“Locations”
4. Indications of the mini light:
a) Red: power is going through.
b) Blue: every time a memory card is just connected, you would see a blue
glitter, meaning the recognition process is happening.
c) Red + Blue: when a memory card is connected successfully and
constantly, the blue light will stay with the red light, no flickering. When
files are being transferred, the blue light flickers.
- Troubleshooting
1. The computer does not recognize the card reader
a) Unplug and plug the card again. Make sure it is inserted correctly.
b) Check if your card is in good condition, or try with another card.
c) Try to unplug and plug the card reader. Reboot the computer if
necessary.
d) Try with another USB port. If you are using a desktop, try with USB ports
on the back of the case which provide more power supply.
2. Memory card cannot be properly recognized
Try to plug and unplug the card and monitor the mini light (see Indications
of the mini light above) at the same time so that you can find whether it is
about the poor connection of cards, poor connection of card reader, or
deficiencies of cards / card reader.
3. Low transfer speed
a) Please note that CF and MS cards are quite outdated and do not support
the speed of USB 3.0. All card readers available on the market can only
get to the speed of USB 2.0, which is not the fault of card readers.
b) Transfer speed is also dependent on the cards. Some cards are not of
high- speed feature. Please check with card specs.
c) The functioning environment also affects read & write speed (full disc
storage, obsolete OS system, too many software running at the same
time, use of additional intermediates like hub or adapter, etc.)
d) Some devices have both 2.0 and 3.0 USB ports. Please make sure you
are plugging the card reader into a USB 3.0 port.
4. Reminder
a) The use of intermediates (docking, hub, etc.) may induce unexpected
problems like slow speed, no recognition from the computer, and so on.
Interlaced work of chips may cause errors and an unstable power supply.
b) Do not expose the card reader to liquids or disassemble without
expertise.
c) Avoid overheating or undercooling environment.
