Coemar GKIT54 CF 7 HE X is a modification kit for CF 7 HE X units that improves the precision and repeatability of pan/tilt repositioning, even after a reset or accidental misalignment.

The kit includes new encoders, opto sensors, and memory boards that must be installed in both the base and yoke of the unit.

Once installed, the new components work together to provide a more accurate and reliable positioning system for the unit's pan and tilt motors.

repositioning either after the reset and accidental misalignment.
Note: we have designed a new encoder for CF 7 HE X in order to improve the unit and satisfy the
requests of higher performances.

Modification:
The modification has to be applied on two different areas of the unit: base and yoke.
Base
1.Open the base of the unit
2.Locate the area where you should work: encoder and opto (double sensor)
25 slots encoder pulley

Remove the opto holder bracket
Cod: 8720.27
Remove the double opto Cod: CE97R1/L
cut sensor’s cables

3.remove the 25 slots encoder pulley (code IN34/1L)
4.remove the opto holder bracket (code 8720.27)
5.remove the double opto (code CE97R1/L)
6.cut sensor’s cables
fit the new 50 slots pulley

Fit the new sensor holder

10. connect the hirose connector by using the dedicated pliers,
following the diagram 187/3/2, cable number 23 encoder side
substitute old memory boards with these new versions

These new memories must be installed and used only
with the new encoder

11.remove the PCB from its housing and replace the memories
with the following:

12- connect the encoder wires for base and yoke as shown in
diagram 187/3/3 wires 23 and 22

8.fit the new sensor holder bracket
9.connect the hirose connector by using the dedicated pliers,
following the diagram 187/3/2, cable number 22 encoder side

Remove opto holder bracket
Cod: 8720.66 n°1
Remove 25 slots encoder pulley
Cod: IN34AMODEL
cut the sensor’s wires

5.cut sensor’s cables
Test
Switch on the unit and test all the functions especially pan and tilt motors, then close the unit.

All the units manufactured from 1
st
of January 2002 will be fitted with this mechanical modification and new memories.
Modified units can be used together with units not modified; no differences will be particularly manifest but for a
more accurate repeatability of the programmed positions.
