Star Trac Multi Station - Installation Checklist
Use the checklist below to ensure proper installation of Star Trac Multi Station:
Upon receipt inspect packaging for damage Report all damages to Core Health and notate all
damages on the BOL
Ensure all hardware and parts in the package are accounted for
Apply blue loctite to all top plate threaded fasteners
Make sure the set screws at the bottom of the guide rods are tightened
Verify lock-n-load switches have the large screws on the right side of the weight plates. If not replace
with larger screws
Make sure the weight plate’s LB denominations are in sequential order on each weight stack and
weight stack bumper is under the weight stack
Check for proper alignment of weight plates and top plate selector rod
Test that each lock-n-load selector pin engages the selector rod with ease and does not bind
Ensure that all cross beam bolts are facing up with button head facing down/or visible and the
remaining bolts button head always faces the user
Ensure that all instruction placards are on the user right side of the column
Ensure you have one increment weight for each weighted station
Ensure that all open frame holes are filled with the supplied black cap inserts
Check all weldments for straightness, perpendicularity and parallelism
Ensure the leveler feet of the adjustable pulley station is secured to the ground
Ensure the adjustable hi/lo pulley handle is in good working condition
Ensure all rubber feet are on the unit base and seated stations
Ensure all upholstery hardware is tight upon final placement
Ensure all screws, bolts, and nuts are tightened and torqued down to their specified values. This
includes all pre assembled assemblies.
Apply 3 in 1 oil to all guide rods and adjustable pulley column prior to function test
During the full function test ensure that all pulleys and motions are smooth and no rubbing is heard
Verify condition of upholstery, check for marks or cuts.
Overall visual & cosmetic inspection: All equipment is to be wiped down and checked for defects prior to
leaving the facility. Installer is to contact an authorized Core Health & Fitness representative while on site, if
there are any issues that have not been resolved.
