Basic Operations
Menu Navigation (PBC)
1. Press MENU to enable/disable PBC functionality with VCD 2.0/SVCD/CVD discs.
PBC must be enable for menu navigation.
2. Press a number on the number pad to select a track to play (VCD 2.0/SVCD/CVD
only).
Note:
While VCD in PBC shut off, you can press numeric button on remote control to
select track. In PBC turn on, press numeric button can t select track directly.
You should press PRG/AMS button to select track in searching.

Skipping to the Next/Previous Chapter/Track
1. Press to skip forward to the beginning of the next chapter (DVD) or track
(VCD/SVCD/CVD, audio CD).
2. Press to skip backward to the beginning of the previous chapter or track.
Note:
Playback resumes to normal speed after skipping to the beginning of a chapter.
Advanced Playback
1. Search playback
A. In disc playing mode, press PRG/AMS on remote control once, to pop
up the search setup item: title, chapter, track, time, full disc time, etc.
For selecting setup search playback, the setup column display depends
on disc format.
B. Enter the search setup column, press / direction button on remote
control to move the yellow cursor, until to desired option, press 0 - 9
numeric button on remote control to set the desired title, chapter, track,
time or full disc time, etc. then press Enter enter the setting search
position for playback.
Note: press PRG/AMS once, to pop up search setup column, if no
operation in 10 seconds, the setup column will disappear
automatically.
2. Program playback
A. In DVD/VCD playing mode, press PRG/AMS on remote control over 2
seconds to enter the program playback list, press / direction button
on remote control to move the yellow cursor, and select title, chapter or

If the highlighted entry indicates a c hapter or title, the disc will play from the

MP3 Functions
MP3 adopts to a standard which is the newest compressed technique of video digital
playing, one disc can store more than 600 types of music, or more than 160 songs, and
have the same quality as CD.
Use the digital button to select the song playing directly.
1. According to the basic operating process, insert the disc correctly, the player will
start to search the disc information, and then show the message on the screen.
DISC PLAYBACK
1. The MP3 Menu is automatically opened and a list of tracks displayed when an MP3
disc is inserted into the player.
2. Within 10 tracks can be selected to press numeric button directly.
3. Selecting track is two digit or three digit.
Eg: selecting the 35th track, press 3 button, and press 5 ,then press
ENTER button it will playback the 35th track automatically. If selecting
135th track, press 1 button, and press 3 button, then press 5 , and
press ENTER again.
SELECT TRACK
The player plays the first track automatically, the elapsed time within the
track is displayed on the right side of the top line, when the track is finished,
the second track will begin playing and the track number on the top line will
be updated. Press STOP to stop playback of the current track.

Selecting a Track to Play
2. Press the RIGHT direction button when the highlighted track is in the column on
the far right, and up to five more tracks in the current directory will be displayed.
3. Press the LEFT direction button when the highlighted track is in the column to the
far left, and the previous five tracks will be displayed.
4. Press ENTER on a track number, and that track will begin to play.
5. Enter a track number with the number keys to play a track and press SELECT/
ENTER. The digits will a ppear in the message area as the keys are pressed.
In this case, the track di splay doesn t change. After pressing SELECT/ENTER, the
track display changes if the selected track is not in the current display.
