Thank you for buying a FixMeStick virus removal device. We’ve designed
the FixMeStick to be easy to use and effective. Plug in your FixMeStick
and it automatically updates with information about the latest threats.
It then scans for and removes malware from your computer.
Run at least once a month to keep your computer fast and clean.

WINDOWS GETTING STARTED GUIDE
DIRECTIONS
Turn ON your computer and login so you see your normal desktop/background.
Remove the cap of your FixMeStick device and plug it into a USB port on your
computer.
If you’re using a desktop computer, use one of the USB ports
at the back of the tower.
Open “File Explorer” or “My Computer” by following one of these methods:
A. Left click the “Start” button or and select “My Computer” or “Computer”.
B. Right click , and select “File Explorer” from the list that appears.
C. Left click on the taskbar at the bottom of your screen.
A new window will appear on your screen. The “FixMeStick USB” drive will be on
the left-hand side of that window. Left click on “FixMeStick USB”.
If you do not see
it try a different USB port.
Double left click on “FixMeStick” under the list of languages and select “Yes” on
the pop-up asking to allow changes to your computer.
The FixMeStick device will update. Then follow the steps on your screen.
Your computer will reboot. You’re in a FixMeStick scan when you see a series of
numbered steps on your screen.
When nished, click “Clean Computer”. Your computer will shutdown and reboot
into your normal operating system.

USING THE BOOT MENU

Power OFF your computer.
Remove the cap of your FixMeStick device and plug it into a USB port on your
computer. If you’re using a desktop, try one of the ports at the back of the tower.
Power ON your PC and immediately start tapping F12 until you see the “Boot
Menu” or “Boot Device Options”. If you see your login screen, it is too late and
you should power off your computer and try again. If F12 doesn’t work try Esc, F8,
F10 or F11.
Your mouse will not work, so use the arrow keys on your keyboard to highlight
“FixMeStick” or “USB”, then hit the Enter key.
You’re in a FixMeStick scan when you see a series of numbered steps on your
screen. Be sure to register your FixMeStick in the top right of the scan screen to
get the latest updates and deals.
When nished, click “Clean Computer”. Your computer will shutdown and reboot
into your normal operating system.
