Installation
M12 CONNECTION ON ISO 1 - 2 - 3 SPOOL VALVES
Pad mounting ISO 1 - 2 and 3 spool valves with a M12 connector with 3 contacts have the following advantages:
• Small size (miniature series 302 pilot valve)
• Shorter connection time and lower cost
• Built-in electrical display and protection
• Provision for instantaneous electrical disconnection
■ Centralised electrical connection
by M12 connector
■ Conventional connection
by two size 30 connectors (to ISO4400)
DISPLAY AND CONNECTION OF M12 CONNECTOR (24V DC only)
A: Operator pilot valve (14)
B: Yellow LED indicating energisation of pilot valve
14 (operator)
C: Return pilot valve (12), bistable or 5/3
D: Yellow LED indicating energisation of pilot valve
12 (return)
E: Bulkhead connector, 3 male contacts, CNOMO
E03.62.520N, for electrical connection of two
pilot valves.
F: Yellow LED indicating energisation of pilot valve.
NOTE: The built-in electrical protection is provided
by bi-directional Transil diodes.
Assignment is as per ISO/CD20401
standard.

3 = Common (0V)
4 = Coil 14

For the versions with M12 connector, we recommend using the more compact-sized right-angle
connectors which have a smaller bend radius than a straight connector (reduction of strain).
