Welcome to Sytech! Thank you for purchasing the Milk Warmer SY-CAL70. Please read this manual
carefully before operating your product and pay close attention to the precautions which are
mentioned below. Store this user manual in a safe place for future reference
PARTS OF THE SY-CAL70
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their
safety.
Always keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
Do not connect the Plug into the socket, or use the appliance, if your hands or the appliance are
wet.
Unplug the appliance whenever it is not in use.
THE APPLIANCE MUST ALWAYS BE EARTHED - always connect to a main socket with an earth
connection.
Never leave the unit unattended when it is operating.
The Mains Lead should be positioned so as not to cause an obstruction or to overhang the edge
of the surface, where it could accidentally be snagged or pilled by children.
Do not use the Kettle outdoors.
Ensure that the Mains Lead is not near any hot surface.
Pull the plug (do not pull Mains lead to disconnect from mains socket.
Do not pull the Mains Lead to move the appliance.
It is not recommended that the Kettle be used with an extension lead. If this cannot be avoided,
ensure that the extension lead is of the correct rating.
As the Kettle becomes hot during use, take care when handling it and use only the handle to lift.
Do not tilt the kettle backwards when filling or carrying it.
Do not pour from the kettle while it is switched on.
The Kettle should be used only as instructed and for the purpose for which it was intended; there
is potential for injury or damage from misuse.
Do not use the Kettle with a timer or programming device.
Do not switch on or attempt to operate the Kettle if it appears to be faulty in any way.
Should the Kettle accidentally fall into water, unplug immediately and do not use.
BEFORE USING THE SY-CAL70
1. Take the appliance out of the packaging
2. Wash the inside of the kettle body with liquid detergent and warm water, rinse and dry.
3. Wipe the outside of the kettle body with a cloth, using liquid detergent and warm water.
4. Wash the lid in liquid detergent and warm water.
DO NOT IMMERSE ANY PART OF THE KETTLE IN WATER; EXCEPT THE LID.
IF YOU TRAVEL TO ANOTHER LOCATION, CHECK THE MAINS SUPPLY VOLTAGE, FAILURE TO
DO SO MAY RESULT IN DAMAGE TO THE KETTLE
USING THE SY-CAL70
1. Position the Kettle on a dry, level and stable surface, away from direct heat.
2. The power cord should be positioned so it does not hand off the edge of the surface or cause any
obstruction The Kettle should not be positioned directly below a mains socket.
3. Remove the Lid (2)
4. Pour the required amount of milk into the Kettle, ensuring that the level is below the MAX (0.5L)
mark.
5. Replace the Lid (2)
6. Insert the Mains Plug into the mains socket and switch the unit on
7. If the indicator (4) does not illuminate, press the Reset (ON) switch (5).
·Once the indicator illuminates, the Kettle will begin to heat the milk. When the heat finishing, the
Kettle will switch off automatically and the Indicator (4) will extinguish.
8. Switch off the mains socket and remove the Mains Plug (6).
·Always take care as the milk is very hot
·Once the milk has cooled, it can be reheated by pressing the Reset (ON) Switch. This will not
function while the milk is still hot.
·The kettle has an overheating protective system. However do not allow the kettle to work whilst
empty.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
Before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance process, always allow the kettle to cool completely.
1. Wash the inside of the Kettle Body (1) with liquid detergent and warm water, rinse and dry.
2. Wipe the outside of the Kettle Body (1) with a cloth, using liquid detergent and warm water.
3. Wash the Lid (2) in liquid detergent and warm water.
·Do not immerse any part of the kettle in liquid, except for the lid (2).
·Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or a brush with metal bristles.
·When the Kettle is not in use, store in a dry place.
·To Minimise scale build-up, empty the kettle and rinse it thoroughly after each use.
