Introduction
The SCS-8 provides eight HP quick disconnects, built in 6,000 PSI regulator, over
pressure relief valve and integrated ow restrictor to comply with US Navy ll rate
standards of 250-500 PSI/Min to prevent over heating of the cylinders and stress to the
SEA due to rapid lling.
FEATURES & BENEFITS
• Max ll pressure 3000 PSI
• Over pressure relief at 3500 PSI
• Eight male QD ttings included
• Integrated ow restrictor

1. Connect to a source of Grade D or better
breathing air (3000 psi minimum
pressure/6000 PSI maximum pressure) via
the 1/4” FNPT port on the left hand side.
2. Test for leaks and verify pressure on the
left hand (red face) pressure gauge.
USE CAUTION WHENEVER WORKING WITH HIGH PRESSURE COMPRESSED AIR
3. Adjust the regulator to 3000 PSI (this will show on the blue faced gauge) using the large
black knob, turning clockwise to increase the pressure and counterclockwise to reduce the
pressure.
NOTE: Both small black knobs should be
closed at this time.

4. Connect the SEA cylinders to the ll adapter hoses.
a. Remove the dust cap from the ll port of
the SEA.
d. Place the SEA into the
cylinder holder tube.
b. Install the male quick coupler tting into
the ll port until the o-ring is fully seated---
this normally takes only nger
pressure however you can use gentle pres-
sure with a wrench if desired.
c. Pull the collar back on a female quick
connector and insert the male until they are
fully mated.

e. Repeat step 3 until you have between 1 and 8 SEA cylinders ready to ll.
5. Open the supply valve closest to the
regulator (small black knob) until you can
achieve ow (either listen or watch the large
gauge).
6. When the cylinders are full to 3000 psi as
veried on the large gauge; close the supply
valve.
VALVES CAN BE DAMAGED BY EXCESS FORCE.
USE GENTLE FINGER PRESSURE ONLY
NOTE: You can adjust the ow faster (there is a ow limiting device) or slower with this
same valve. The integrated ow restrictor complies with the US Navy ll rate standards of
250-500 PSI/Min.
7. Vent the pressure from the ll hoses using
the valve (small black knob) on the right side of
the manifold beside the large gauge.

8. Disconnect the quick release couplers by pulling back on the collar and separating the
male and female adapters.
9. Unscrew the male part from the SEA ll
port.
11. Repeat steps 3 thru 8 as needed until all
SEA’s are lled to 3000 PSI.
12. Once the SEA’s are full, relieve the pressure from the regulator by turning the large
black knob counterclockwise.
10. Reinstall the dust cap onto the ll port
of the SEA.
13. Turn off the high pressure air source to the ll manifold.
