Knife Removal Tool Instructions
Removing Knife:
Step One: Point arrow on knife to pin on ring
guard at 1 o’clock position (Figure A).

Step Three: Look between knife and tool to
align pin on tool with hole in knife. Rotate
knife if necessary using hand on back of knife
(Figure C).
Knife edge is sharp.
Step Four: Push handle in and turn (Figure D).
Note: Remember to push the handle firmly all
the way into the hub before attempting to turn.
You may experience resistance when turning.
Step Five: Lift tool and knife up and out.

Step Two: Place tool on knife by aligning
bottom pins and notches (Figure B).

Before using the knife removal tool, unplug the machine, turn the index knob fully
clockwise to close the gauge plate, remove the product tray, sharpener, top knife cover and
removable ring guard cover.

Replacing Knife:
Step One: Point line on hub to pin on ring
guard at 1 o’clock position (Figure E).

Note: If the tool still does not slide into the
hub, check alignment of the pin on hub with
hole in back of knife (Figure G). Rotate hub if
necessary. Then nudge slightly to lock into the
hub (Figure F).

Step Two: Place tool on hub by aligning
bottom pins and notches (Figure B).
Note: If the tool does not slide into hub after
this step, nudge slightly to lock into hub
(Figure F).
Step Three: Press handle in and turn (Figure H).
Note: Remember to push the handle firmly all
the way into the hub before attempting to turn.
You may experience resistance when turning.
Step Four: Lift tool up and out.
