Improved compatibility with lenses that are equipped with a focus limiter switch.
Improved compatibility with lenses that are equipped with an O.I.S. mode switch.
Improved compatibility with lenses that are equipped with an aperture ring.
Improvement of the shutter release delay in backlight situations.
Firmware version for Leica L-Adapters is shown in camera menu.
The video mode is no longer canceled by the camera when the battery loses capacity. The
user can now decide this for himself.

Firmware update process
1. Copy the firmware file onto a SD Memory Card in its top level folder.
2. Make sure to turn off the power switch on the camera.
3. Insert the fully charged battery to the body. If the battery is not fully charged, the update process
screen will not appear.
4. Insert the SD Memory Card into the camera.
5. Choose MENU / Main Menu / Camera Information / Firmware.
6. Press “Start Update” and confirm the start process.
7. The camera will guide you through the backup process of your personal settings.
8. Wait until this process is finished.
9. Restart your camera; do not remove the SD card.
10. Confirm the upload of your personal settings from the SD card.
Installation new Leica FOTOS
1. Go to the app store and make sure that Leica FOTOS is up-to-date.
2. In Leica FOTOS delete your paired Leica CL by swiping the card to the left.
3. Start the WLAN on your Leica CL and add the camera again in Leica FOTOS.
CAUTION:
Please do not turn off your camera. Do not remove the SD Memory Card. Do not remove the lens
or the battery while updating your camera firmware or lens firmware.
DISREGARDING THIS ADVICE CAN CAUSE SERIOUS DAMAGE TO YOUR CAMERA AND YOUR LENS.
