13. A short power-supply cord or detachable power-supply cord is provided to
reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer
cord. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or touch hot surfaces.
14. Always plug cord into wall outlet before operation. There is no on/o switch. To turn
o, remove plug from wall outlet. Allow unit to cool completely before putting away.
15. Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and
may be used if care is exercised in their use. Exception: An extension cord or
longer detachable cord is not recommended for use with this appliance.
16. If a long detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used: 1) The marked
electrical rating of the cord or extension cord should be at least as great as the
electrical rating of the appliance; 2) If the appliance is of the grounded type,
the extension cord should be a grounding 3-wire cord; and 3) The longer cord
should be arranged so that it does not drape over the countertop or table top
where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
17. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the
risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to t into a polarized outlet only one way.

Electrics™! This multipurpose unit bakes everyone's favorite breakfast foods in a matter of
minutes. The interchangeable cooking plates allow you to make ve wae or French toast
sticks per batch. You can also make delicious pancake sticks or breakfast bars. Use the 25
included sticks to bake fun, easy-to-eat meals for the kids or a handy breakfast on the go.

HOW TO OPERATE
1. Before rst use, wipe down all surfaces with a dry, non-abrasive cloth.
2. Find a dry, suitable, level surface near an electrical outlet.
3. Insert the desired Cooking Plates into the Main Unit.
4. The Cooking Plates should be lightly coated with a small amount of vegetable
oil. Vegetable oil can be applied with a paper towel or with a nonstick oil
spray. The oil will help protect the nonstick quality of the cooking surface.
This should be done periodically to maintain the nonstick quality.
5. Preheat the appliance by closing the Lid and plugging into an electrical outlet.
6. When the power is on, the Red Power Light
will come on. The Green Ready Light will stay
on while the appliance is preheating.
7. The appliance should preheat for a minimum
of 3 minutes. The Green Ready Light will turn
o when the appliance is ready to cook.
8. While the appliance is
preheating, you may prepare your ingredients.
9. Raise the Lid using an oven mitt or pot holder to prevent accidental burns.
10. Carefully place French toast or pour batter into the wells of the Cooking Plates.
11. Close the Lid using a pot holder or oven mitt.
Make sure Lid is locked by closing latch.
Steam may be released from appliance during
cooking. For your safety, avoid contact with steam,
as it is very hot and can cause burns.
12. The cooking time will range between 3-7 minutes.
13. Once completed cooking, unlock and
raise the Lid with a pot holder or oven mitt. Remove the food from the
Cooking Plates with a plastic or wooden kitchen utensil. DO NOT use metal
utensils, as they may scratch and damage the Cooking Plates.
14. If cooking more than one batch in a session, be sure to lower the lid in
between batches to maintain the proper cooking temperature.
15. As soon as you are nished cooking, unplug appliance and allow to cool.
16. Once the appliance is cool, follow the directions in the Cleaning & Maintenance
section to clean your WAFFLE & FRENCH TOAST STICK MAKER.

HELPFUL TIPS
NEVER leave the unit unattended while operating.
Smoking
During rst use, you may notice slight smoking or a slight odor; this is normal
with most new appliances. The smoking and odor is caused by the residues
burning o the nonstick Cooking Plates and the Heating Element. Allow
the appliance to preheat until smoke and odor no longer exists.
Nonstick Cooking Plates
Each time you use your WAFFLE & FRENCH TOAST STICK MAKER, it is recommended
that you coat the Cooking Plates lightly with a small amount of vegetable oil.
Vegetable oil can be applied with a paper towel or with a nonstick oil spray.
Preparing French Toast Sticks
You can use any type of bread to make French toast sticks in
your WAFFLE & FRENCH TOAST STICK MAKER.
Traditional White
Wheat
Italian
French
Sourdough
Cinnamon Raisin
When making French toast sticks, cut your desired bread into 1¼-inch wide by 4¼-inch
long sticks. Insert the Bamboo Stick length-wise into the bread, then dip into your batter.
Place into preheated wells of the lower cooking surface, aligning sticks
with notches in Cooking Plates. You may also choose to make French
toast sticks without using the included Bamboo Sticks.
Baking Wae & French Toast on Sticks
Before cooking food in your WAFFLE
& FRENCH TOAST STICK MAKER, insert
Bamboo Stick and push at least halfway
through food length-wise. Align sticks
with notches in Lower Cooking Surface.
When cooking with batter, ll to top of wells
in Lower Cooking Surface. Place stick in center
of batter, at least halfway through. Be sure
to cover stick with batter to ensure the food
fully adheres to stick and cooks evenly.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
Please take care of your WAFFLE & FRENCH TOAST STICK MAKER by following
these simple instructions and precautions. Cleaning is a snap.
Disconnect from the electrical outlet by unplugging the appliance.
Make sure the appliance is cool before cleaning.
Remove all Cooking Plates.
Hand wash Cooking Plates in warm, soapy water using a non-abrasive
cloth. Rinse and dry with a non-abrasive cloth or towel.
Wipe the exterior of the Main Unit with a dry, non-abrasive cloth.
Bamboo Sticks are reusable if wiped clean with a damp, non-
abrasive cloth and allowed to dry thoroughly.
NEVER use scouring pads or abrasive cleaners on this unit
as it will damage the surface and parts.
DO NOT put any parts in the dishwasher.
NEVER immerse WAFFLE & FRENCH TOAST STICK MAKER in water.

TRADITIONAL WAFFLES
2 Eggs
2 Cups All-
Purpose Flour
1¾ Cups Milk
½ Cup Vegetable Oil
1 Tbsp. White Sugar
4 Tsp. Baking Powder
¼ Tsp. Salt
½ Tsp. Vanilla Extract
Preheat the WAFFLE & FRENCH TOAST
STICK MAKER as directed.
Beat eggs in large bowl with hand beater until uy.
Beat in our, milk, vegetable oil, sugar, baking
powder, salt and vanilla, just until smooth.
Pour batter into preheated wells of
the lower cooking surface.
Close the Lid and cook for 3-7 minutes
or until golden brown.
Open Lid with a pot holder or oven mitt. Remove each
wae stick with a wooden or plastic kitchen utensil.
OATMEAL WAFFLES
1½ Cups All-
Purpose Flour
1 Cup Quick-Cooking
Rolled Oats
1 Tbsp. Baking
Powder
½ Tsp. Cinnamon
¼ Tsp. Salt
2 Eggs, slightly
beaten
1½ Cups Milk
6 Tbsp. Butter, melted
2 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
Preheat the WAFFLE & FRENCH TOAST
STICK MAKER as directed.
In large mixing bowl, stir together our, oats,
baking powder, cinnamon and salt; set aside.
In small mixing bowl, stir together eggs, milk, butter and
brown sugar. Add to our mixture; stir until blended.
Pour batter into preheated wells of
the lower cooking surface.
Close the Lid and cook for 3-7 minutes
or until cooked through.
Open Lid with a pot holder or oven mitt.
Remove each wae stick with a wooden
or plastic kitchen utensil.
Serve with fresh fruit and yogurt if desired.

CHOCOLATE WAFFLES
1 Cup Butter
4 Eggs, beaten
1½ Cups Sugar
½ Cup Cocoa
2 Cups Flour
1 Tsp. Vanilla
1 Tsp. Salt
½ Cup Water
Preheat the WAFFLE & FRENCH TOAST
STICK MAKER as directed.
In a large bowl, beat together all ingredients.
Batter will be slightly lumpy.
Pour batter into preheated wells of
the lower cooking surface.
Close the Lid and cook for 3-7 minutes.
Open Lid with a pot holder or oven mitt.
Remove each wae stick with a wooden
or plastic kitchen utensil.
Serve with sliced bananas and whipped cream.
BASIC FRENCH TOAST
6 Thick Slices Bread
2 Eggs
2/3 Cup Milk
¼ Tsp. Ground
Cinnamon, optional
¼ Tsp. Ground
Nutmeg, optional
1 Tsp. Vanilla
Extract, optional
Salt, to taste
Preheat the WAFFLE & FRENCH TOAST
STICK MAKER as directed.
Beat together egg, milk, salt, desired spices and vanilla.
Cut bread slices into 1¼-inch wide by 4¼-inch long sticks.
Dunk each bread stick in egg mixture, soaking both sides.
Place bread in preheated wells of the lower cooking surface.
Close the Lid and cook for 3-7 minutes. Open
Lid with a pot holder or oven mitts.
Remove each French toast stick with a
wooden or plastic kitchen utensil.
CINNAMON RAISIN FRENCH TOAST
7 Large Eggs
2½ Cups Half and Half
½ Cup Sugar
1 Tbsp. Vanilla Extract
1 Tsp. Ground
Cinnamon
¼ Tsp. Ground
Nutmeg
6 Slices Cinnamon-
Raisin Bread,
1½-inch-thick
Preheat the WAFFLE & FRENCH TOAST
STICK MAKER as directed.
Whisk rst 6 ingredients in 13 x 9 x 2-inch glass baking dish.
Cut bread slices into 1¼-inch wide by 4¼-inch
long sticks. Add bread sticks to egg mixture and let
soak 20 minutes, pressing down occasionally.
Place bread sticks in preheated wells
of the lower cooking surface.
Close the Lid and cook for 3-7 minutes. Open
Lid with a pot holder or oven mitts.
Remove with a wooden or plastic kitchen utensil.

CARAMEL FRENCH TOAST
1 Cup Packed Light
Brown Sugar
½ Cup Light-colored
Corn Syrup
¼ Cup Butter
Cooking spray
10 (1-ounce) Slices
French Bread
2½ Cups 1%
Low-fat Milk
1 Tbsp. All-
Purpose Flour
Tsp. Vanilla Extract
¼ Tsp. Salt
2 Large Eggs
2 Tbsp. Granulated
Sugar
1 Tsp. Ground
Cinnamon
Combine brown sugar, corn syrup and butter in a
small saucepan. Cook over medium heat 5 minutes
or until mixture is bubbly, stirring constantly.
Coat a 13 x 9-inch cooking dish with cooking
spray. Pour mixture into pan in an even layer.
Cut bread slices into 1¼-inch wide by 4¼-inch long sticks.
Arrange bread sticks in a single layer over syrup in dish.
Combine milk, our, vanilla, salt and eggs in a large
bowl, stirring with a whisk. Pour egg mixture over
bread. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.
Preheat the WAFFLE & FRENCH TOAST
STICK MAKER as directed.
Combine 2 tablespoons granulated sugar and
cinnamon. Sprinkle evenly over bread.
Place bread in preheated wells of the lower cooking surface.
Close the Lid and cook for 3-7 minutes.
Open Lid with a pot holder or oven mitt.
Remove with a wooden or plastic kitchen utensil.
TRADITIONAL PANCAKES
• ¾ Cup Milk
2 Tbsp. White Vinegar
1 Cup All-
Purpose Flour
2 Tbsp. White Sugar
1 Tsp. Baking Powder
½ Tsp. Baking Soda
½ Tsp. Salt
1 Egg
2 Tbsp. Butter, melted
Preheat the WAFFLE & FRENCH TOAST
STICK MAKER as directed.
Combine milk with vinegar in a medium
bowl and set aside for 5 minutes.
Combine our, sugar, baking powder, baking
soda, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Whisk
egg and butter into milk/vinegar mixture.
Pour the our mixture into the wet ingredients
and whisk until lumps are gone.
Carefully pour batter into the preheated
wells of the lower cooking surface.
Close the Lid and cook for 3-7 minutes.
Open Lid with a pot holder or oven mitt.
Remove with a wooden or plastic kitchen utensil.

BLUEBERRY PANCAKES
2 Eggs, separated
1½ Cups Sifted
All-Purpose Flour
2 ¼ Tsp. Baking
powder
3 Tbsp. Sugar

1 Cup Blueberries,
fresh or frozen,
thawed
Preheat the WAFFLE & FRENCH TOAST
STICK MAKER as directed.
Beat egg whites in a small bowl until sti; set aside.
In a separate bowl, sift together our,
baking powder, sugar and salt.
Beat egg yolks in a medium mixing bowl;
add milk and melted butter.
Stir egg mixture into dry ingredients; mix until batter is
smooth and stir in blueberries. Fold in beaten egg whites.
Carefully pour batter into the preheated
wells of the lower cooking surface.
Close the Lid and cook for 3-7 minutes.
Open Lid with a pot holder or oven mitt.
Remove with a wooden or plastic kitchen utensil.
CHOCOLATE CHIP PANCAKES
2 Cups All-
Purpose Flour
¼ Cup Sugar
2 Tbsp. Baking
Powder
1 Tsp. Salt
2 Eggs
1½ Cups Milk
¼ Cup Vegetable Oil
½ Cup Miniature
Chocolate Chips
Preheat the WAFFLE & FRENCH TOAST
STICK MAKER as directed.
In a bowl, combine the our, sugar, baking powder and salt.
Combine eggs, milk and oil; add to dry ingredients
and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips.
Carefully pour batter into the preheated
wells of the lower cooking surface.
Close the Lid and cook for 3-7 minutes.
Open Lid with a pot holder or oven mitt.
Remove with a wooden or plastic kitchen utensil.

OATMEAL RAISIN GRANOLA BARS
2 Cups Rolled Oats
¾ Cup Packed
Brown Sugar
½ Cup Wheat Germ
¾ Tsp. Ground
Cinnamon
1 Cup All-
Purpose Flour
¾ Cup Raisins,
optional
¾ Tsp. Salt
½ Cup Honey
1 Egg, beaten
½ Cup Vegetable Oil
2 Tsp. Vanilla Extract
In a large bowl, mix together the oats, brown sugar,
wheat germ, cinnamon, our, raisins and salt.
Make a well in the center, and pour in the honey,
egg, oil and vanilla. Mix well using your hands.
Using a wooden or heat-resistant plastic utensil,
spoon approximately ¼ cup of the mixture
into each well in the lower cooking surface. Pat
down into an even layer with the spoon.
Close the Lid and cook for 3-7 minutes, or until
golden brown and cooked through.
Open Lid with a pot holder or oven mitt.
Remove with a wooden or plastic kitchen utensil.
CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER GRANOLA BARS
½ Cup Honey
½ Cup Brown Sugar
½ Cup Peanut Butter
2 Cups Quick-
Cooking Oats
2 Cups Crisped
Rice Cereal
¼ Cup Ground
Flax Seed
1-2 Tbsp. Wheat Germ
1 Cup Miniature
Chocolate Chips
In a small saucepan, mix honey and brown sugar.
Cook over medium-high heat until sugar is
completely dissolved, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and quickly stir in peanut butter.
Mix the oats, cereal, ax seed, and
wheat germ in a large bowl.
Pour honey mixture over dry ingredients. Mix well.
Stir in chocolate chips
Using a wooden or heat-resistant plastic utensil,
spoon approximately ¼ cup of the mixture
into each well in the lower cooking surface. Pat
down into an even layer with the spoon.
Close the Lid and cook for 3-7 minutes, or until
golden brown and cooked through.
Open Lid with a pot holder or oven mitt.
Remove with a wooden or plastic kitchen utensil.

PRECAUCIONES IMPORTANTES

MEDIDAS IMPORTANTES

12. Desenchufe del toma corriente cuando no está en uso y antes de retirar partes para su
limpieza. Deje enfriar antes de colocar o retirar partes y antes de limpiar el aparato.
13. Se incluye un cable de alimentación de energía más corto o extraíble para reducir el
riesgo resultante de quedar atrapado o tropezarse con un cable más largo. No permita
que el cable cuelgue de los extremos de la mesa ni toque supercies calientes.

16. Si usa un cable de alimentación extraíble largo o un cable de extensión: 1) La clasicación
eléctrica indicada del cable o del cable de extensión debe ser al menos equivalente
a la clasicación eléctrica del aparato; 2) Si el aparato tiene conexión a tierra, el cable
de extensión debe ser un cable de 3 vías con conexión a tierra; y 3) El cable más largo
debe disponerse de tal forma que no cuelgue de la mesa de trabajo ni de la mesa de tal
forma que pueda ser arrastrado por los niños o pueda ser enganchado sin intención.
17. Este electrodoméstico tiene un enchufe polarizado (una hoja es más ancha

está diseñado para insertarse en un tomacorriente polarizado solamente en
una posición. Si el enchufe no encaja totalmente en el toma corriente,
