Guest Check-In (Rooms must be checked in order for the guests to use their phones)
To check a guest in
Press the programmed
‘Hotel’
key on the Advanced
handset, enter room number or press pre-programmed
room key
Enter Guest name
Enter the guest name using the qwerty keypad, press
the soft key underneath ‘OK’ in display
To set a wake up call
Enter the time in 24 hour format, press the soft key
underneath ‘OK’ in the display
(If no wake-up facility required, just press ‘OK’ without
entering a time)
If you have a n add on module, a block will appear on the left-hand side against the room number.
Guest check out
Press ‘
Hotel
key, dial room number or press key on console. Press
‘Checkout’
(Cheout in display)
Select Checkout or Preout.
Checkout -
Guest checking out at current time, the room will be barred from making outgoing
calls. DDI and voicemail will be de-activated and room will be set as unclean (3
rd
block against room will appear)
Preout -
Guest checking out the night before. Room will be barred from making
outgoing
calls, but ddi and voicemail will still be active.
A receipt will be printed.

To change guest room settings
Press ‘
Hotel’
key on the Advanced handset, enter guest room number (Or press room key). You can then
access the following options:
Set or change wake up time
Press the soft key underneath
‘Wake up’
in the display,
enter the time required and press
‘OK’
(If guest does not answer a wake up call, the system will try 3 times and then ring reception to notify of a
wake up problem. The Add on module will also be flashing next to the appropriate room number)
View wake up problem
Press
‘Hotel’
key, enter room number and wake up time
will be flashing in the display. Press wake up key and display
will show wake up problem
Set / cancel do not disturb
Press
DND
, press the soft key underneath
‘Choice’
in the
Display, this will switch between Active or Inactive, Press
‘OK’
(When active DND will be in upper case, when inactive
dnd will be in lower case)
Print
Press
‘Print’
in the display and this will print out a ticket for any
calls made
Send a ‘Call operator’ message
Press the soft key underneath ‘Message’ in the display,
(For Alcatel room phones only)
Press ‘Choice’, a block will appear next to Oper in the display,
Press ‘OK’ to send. (This will activate the message waiting
light on the guest room phone, when they press their mail
Key it will call the operator.)
Deposit
Press
‘Deposit’
key in the display, this will enable you to enter in a
deposit amount for phone calls
Change a guest name
Press the > right hand arrow and then the key underneath
‘Name’
in the display, enter new name using qwerty keyboard, Press
‘OK’
Language
Press the > right hand arrow and press
‘Lang’
in the display, this
will enable you to change the language of their room phone.
Choices are English / French / German / Italian. Once the
language has been changed their voice mail / prompts will be in
this language.
Change allocated ddi number
Press

until number is shown. Press

Change barring level

To change guest password

key, press Status enter room number, status will be displayed (e.g. uncleaned, problem
*7701, busy room)
To set a room as cleaned
Press ‘CLEANS’, press ‘OK’
To set a room as no problem
Press ‘NO PROB’, press ‘OK’
To set a room with a problem code
Press ‘PROBLEM’ and enter problem code (*7701 *7709)
Press ‘OK’
To set a room as cleaned from the room
From the handset in guest room, enter *770
To set a problem from a guest room
From the handset in guest room, enter codes (*7701 *7709)
e.g. *7701 = Broken Mirror etc
