Storage:Avoidstoringorleavingbatterywithnochargeremaining.Savedinformationand
settingsmaybecomelostorchanged,orbatterymaybecomeunusable.Chargeonceeverysix
monthsbeforestoringorleavingunusedforalongperiod.
Bulges:Dependingonuse,bulgesmayappearnearendofbatterylife.Thisdoesnotaffect
safety.
Replacing Battery:Thebatteryisaconsumableitem.Itneedstobereplacedifoperatingtime
shortensnoticeably.Purchaseanewbattery.
Cleaning:Cleansoiledterminalsbetweenbatteryandphonewithaclean,drycottonswab.

1. Plugthechargerintothechargingportofyourphone.
2. PlugtheACadapterintoanelectricaloutlet.

Charge Using a PC Connection
BeforeusingaPCconnectiontochargeyourphone,ensurethatthecomputeristurnedon.
Dependingonthetypeofconnection,yourphone’sbatterymaynotcharge.

SIM CARD
TheSIMcardisanICcardcontainingphonenumberandothercustomerinformation.Yourphone’s
SIMcardispreinstalledandshouldonlybeaccessedifdirectedbyacustomerservicerepresentative.

numbers(MEIDandICCID).Thesenumberscanbefoundonthephone'spackaging.
FormoreinformationaboutyourVirginaccount,seeVirginAccountInformationandHelp.
Create Your Account and Pick Your Plan
SetupyourVirginaccount.
1. Fromyourcomputer,visitVirginmobileusa.comandclickActivate.
2. ChooseanactivationoptionandclickNext.
3. Whenprompted,entertheserialnumber(MEID)printedonthestickerlocatedonthebackofyour
phoneinthebatterycompartment.Thisnumbercanalsobefoundonthebottompanelofthe
phone’spackage.
4. Followtheremaininginstructionstochooseyourplanandselectapaymentmethod.
5. Followtheactivationinstructionsbelowandyou’llbeabletostartusingyourphone.
Activate Your Phone
AftersettingupyouraccountonVirginmobileusa.com,simplyturnyourdeviceon.Yourdeviceis
designedtoactivateautomatically.IfyouareswappingfromanotherVirgindevicetoanewone,be
suretoturnofftheolddevicebeforeswappingtheserialnumber(MEID).OncetheMEIDswapis
complete,turnonthenewdeviceandtheprogramminginformationwillbepushedtoyourdevice
automatically.
COMPLETE THE SETUP SCREENS
Thesetupscreenshelpyousetupcertainfeaturesandpreferencesonyourphone.Onceyourphone
hasbeenturnedon,youwillseeaWelcomemessage.Youcanthencompletethesetupprocess.
